“We ordered the meat for our wedding from Chemong Lodge. Communication with Erica was great during the planning and leading up once our numbers were finalized. The feedback I got from guests was so positive. It was the best smoked meat, best meat ever they have had at a wedding, it melted in their mouth, it was so tasty and juicy, very flavourful, the comments go on and on. We ordered smoked chicken, pulled pork and brisket.

Thanks so much for prepping and delivering the meats for our wedding. Bonus is we also have a bit of extra meant for our freezer to enjoy later. Hope to be able to order from Chemong Lodge again sometime in the future.”

“Only tried this restaurant for the first time about seven or eight years ago… as from the outside it looks like a dive, and I live in Bridgenorth and pass it daily - but one night on my way home from a bonspiel in Ennismore I was exhausted and tired and thought maybe it’s open. I’ll try it…. Was very pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent - some of the best hot and sour soup I’ve ever had- and enjoyed the Singapore noodles. I thought the portions were quite generous and reasonably priced. The ingredients cells were a real cut above most of the dishes I’ve had from other restaurants, not only in Peterborough, but in other areas  or I have lived in Ontario. So tell me go back you On my next visit, I suggested to my brother-in-law, who lives in Vancouver and loves good Asian food, suggested we try the stirfry beef with green pepper and black bean sauce. I would never have ordered that in 1 million years. But was absolutely delicious. He thought so as well and said it was the best he’d ever tasted and that the sauce was obviously made from scratch. Have since tried it over the years and during Covid and have never been disappointed. There isn’t much in Peterborough that I find worth ordering - but have always been very pleased with my meals from the Silver Stone - I know after Covid they were having difficulty with pricing as they only want very fresh ingredients that are of the best quality that they can obtain in Peterborough. And fought with the challenge of raising prices to reflect their costs and losing customers. I know they didn’t wanna cut corners or change the quality of what they were offering. I’ve compared their prices in the last year or so with those of other Asian restaurants in the area and they are not out of line .”

“Today I had a Solo Classic Cheese Burger, and it was really tasty. The patty was juicy and full of flavour, the cheese was nicely melted, and the bun was soft and fresh. Everything tasted like it was made with care.

The customer service was excellent too — the staff were friendly, welcoming, and quick. It made the whole visit that much better.

“Stopped by for a late lunch after walking around the city center and ended up ordering the pepperoni and a garlic knot side, both came out fast and properly hot. The staff were genuinely friendly, checked in without hovering, and even pointed us toward a good coffee spot after. Seating was a bit tight around 1pm but we snagged a table by the window and enjoyed watching the street traffic go by. Honestly one of the better slices I've had outside London, will definitely swing back next time I'm in Peterborough.”

“My aunt‘s favourite restaurant before she passed was Red Lobster. Our family decided to get together in her memory at one of our homes, and we asked Amir, manager of Peterborough Red Lobster if it was possible to have it catered. He enthusiastically jumped in, made suggestions. He actually organized the entire menu. 30 people gathered. The food arrived and it was magnificent. Such a variety. I am pretty sure it was almost everything from their menu and more!!! There was something for every guest to enjoy and they did. If anyone is thinking of hosting such an event, I would strongly recommend recommending contacting Amir and he had his kitchen crew will impress. Thank you, Amir and your staff.”
