1 star, because I can't give it zero. The chicken was rubbery. The batter on the fried food was two times thicker than the product inside the batter. The noodles were extremely salty, with zero flavor. We were extremely disappointed, and did not finish our plates (which has never happened before). We would much rather not eat it all, then eat that meal.

Fantastic food. Everything we have tried so far has been delicious. We love the soo guy and cantonese noodles. Everyone who works there is so kind and friendly. Truly, the nicest & most hardworking family. They deserve all the business.

Only tried this restaurant for the first time about seven or eight years ago… as from the outside it looks like a dive, and I live in Bridgenorth and pass it daily - but one night on my way home from a bonspiel in Ennismore I was exhausted and tired and thought maybe it’s open. I’ll try it…. Was very pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent - some of the best hot and sour soup I’ve ever had- and enjoyed the Singapore noodles. I thought the portions were quite generous and reasonably priced. The ingredients cells were a real cut above most of the dishes I’ve had from other restaurants, not only in Peterborough, but in other areas  or I have lived in Ontario. So tell me go back you
On my next visit, I suggested to my brother-in-law, who lives in Vancouver and loves good Asian food, suggested we try the stirfry beef with green pepper and black bean sauce. I would never have ordered that in 1 million years. But was absolutely delicious. He thought so as well and said it was the best he’d ever tasted and that the sauce was obviously made from scratch. Have since tried it over the years and during Covid and have never been disappointed.
There isn’t much in Peterborough that I find worth ordering - but have always been very pleased with my meals from the Silver Stone - I know after Covid they were having difficulty with pricing as they only want very fresh ingredients that are of the best quality that they can obtain in Peterborough. And fought with the challenge of raising prices to reflect their costs and losing customers. I know they didn’t wanna cut corners or change the quality of what they were offering.
I’ve compared their prices in the last year or so with those of other Asian restaurants in the area and they are not out of line .

Chicken balls were so hard I could barely cut them with a steak knife the chicken in the chicken chop suey was dry and tough the beef brocolli dish was ok. Won't be back
This was possibly the worst Chinese food we have ever experienced. We had a debate as to whether it really was chicken in the dishes as it was a greyish colour and very tough. All 4 of us felt queasy after ingesting it. The food could only be described as slop.Never again ! Beware !

Not very impressed with the food we received! shrimp was slimy, rice was hard, cold and clumped together, lemon chicken was tough and rubbery, honestly doesn't really even look like chicken. And no fortune cookies:(
