We stopped by Don’s Fish & Chips in Brockville today, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The fish was light, flaky, and perfectly battered — crispy without being greasy. The fries were golden and fresh, just like good old-fashioned chip shop fries should be. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the service was fast even though it was busy. The lady there was very helpful and she has a great sense of direction. She helped us and another customer where to sit and enjoy our meal. You can tell this place has a real local charm and tradition behind it. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town! Grab your meal and ask her for the perfect spot to enjoy your meal by the river.

So no seating anywhere but is best fish we ever had we drove from ottawa got there Sunday 5 pm ordered 2 of the picture we posted 150 bucks totaly worth it but we feel ripped off on coleslaw this cant be a large but that is all we go still best fish ever totaly worth the ride and money but check the pic coleslaw is rip off if this is large at 150 for 2 you can do beeter then this lil pack in combo

It's just a take out only place.. so no atmosphere is expected.. service was fine, I was only person there and no one waiting.. but still rushed me to go outside and wait by window.. ahh ok.. as others noted the portion is very small now.. I had two $10 pieces of fish could of eaten 5 or 6 easily.. and the Little containers of Kraft tater really don't go with fresh cut fries and homemade batter.. I hope Manoll's is open next time I'm in the area.. been my favorite for years.. better prices better portions and much better tartar sauce..mmm
