“just came here had the best experience ever, just came in for a quick Jamaican patty during the fair, they offered me a bit of the best free jerk chicken I’ve ever had, will definitely be returning, I’m a Kingston local but I’m gonna be recommending this to any friends passing through on the highway or coming to visit for the day! everybody was so friendly, staff didn’t rush me with my decision, everything was cheap, and you can taste the care in the food, The little dessert doughnut they gave us as well it was delicious”

“Best lamb vindaloo I have ever enjoyed (I am 74 and have lived in Africa ,Britain and Canada) The service was amazing and the waiter was very helpful to my girlfriend who was trying this food for the first time.She absolutely enjoyed her meal”

“Just had the most insanely tasty cup of coffee from Richard’s. These folks are truly amazing! Trudged in about an hour ago grumbling to Melissa that I’d been up since 04:30 and had heard a rumour they had caffeine. She laughed and prepared my usual large Americano. Then, as I left, she grinned and said she’d added a 3rd shot of espresso. I cracked it open while driving north and just about starting floating on air. Had to call in and tell her it was easily the best cup of coffee I’d had in over a year. Thought I’d share - cuz it’s now my ‘go to’ and might become yours, too. Cheers!”

“As being an former employee of Executive Taxi in Brockville for 10 years, I have ventured into Jon’s Restaurant many times. I was never disappointed with the food or service. Very friendly family oriented restaurant. They are right across from Via Rail so I never had far to go to grab my eats as we have a Taxi Stand at Via. I highly recommend them to anyone traveling through or to Brockville.”

“We came to Kelsey's to celebrate a family birthday, and we had Fiona as our server. She was so kind, friendly, and attentive throughout our entire meal. She made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed.

“George and his staff are exceptional and very attentive, the quality of the food is superb, and portion sizes are massive - so go hungry or be prepared for leftovers (which I personally love). For a smaller space they do a great job of getting folks seated as soon as possible - but it's a very popular spot with the locals (for good reason). Never disappoints 👍”

“My partner and I had never been to brockville and chose this place due to the reviews and steak/seafood menu.

It was a completely different atmosphere inside from what we had imagined in the best way possible! The warm lighting is complimented by fun art and a feeling of being in a family business that wants to include you in the that family!

The food was AMAZING I had the seafood pasta and the lobster tail alone was worth the price, my partner got one of the best steaks of his life. We were taken care of by the wife and husband duo that were attentive, efficient, and so welcoming. We instantly made a reservation for the following evening where again, we were not disappointed. The food is incredible and love and hospitality we witnessed not just for our self’s but anyone else in the restaurant was just the cherry on top! If I ever have to go through brockville again I will stop there immediately.”

“Swiss Chalet Brockville recently catered our wedding of just about 60 people. They are owed major kudos!! We are so impressed and pleased on the service we received beginning to end. From the customer service to order accuracy, prompt delivery, portion sizes and the price!?! We honestly felt like we stole it! ALL positive comments from the guests! They were pleased to have the option for seconds! A few said they’ve previously left a wedding early because they were still hungry, but that was not the case! We worked alongside Jonny, he made sure everything ran incredibly smooth, We didn’t have one single issue! He Took the time to get us everything we needed for the day, personally took care of preparation! What owner does the dirty work?? Jonny & Linda know how to run a business- going above and beyond for their customers, not very common these days! We don’t want to forget the a great team behind them!! They also deserve a HUGE thanks for putting everything together! Thank you Swiss Chalet Brockville Team!!! If anyone is looking for a stress-free caterer, that’s these guys! I will be recommending and using them again for future events!”

“Excellent choice for a stop in the city. Biked from Guananoque to Brockville and was delighted with the sandwich and soup combo they had in the menu. Both were delicious. The iced tea was refreshing and not too sweet, exactly how I like it!

In addition of which, the service is fast, kind and accommodating (they deployed the umbrella so that I could eat in the shade and kindly charged my bike GPS).

“I have been going to Halls Apple Market for a few years now. As with any store of this type, things can be a bit pricy. However, the people there are very friendly and helpful. The pies are excellent. I can’t really give it any kind of negative. I’ll be back.”

“I had a wonderful experience in the store. I was struggling with congestion, and after learning more about some of the products I ended up feeling all brand new. I think just the essential scents helped bring relief to my lungs and sinuses. I have to be honest I went in there a little frustrated today but he was so great and helpful that it brought me such calm, peace will definitely go back and want to be able to share this gem and kind man. We tried them in 2 flights first and then got a 14oz. of each of our faves. We ordered poutine, winter salad with shaved sirloin, French onion soup, and the pretzels.”

“Was in town with Family and some were staying in the attached Hotel. We went to have dinner and just ordered off the menu then brought it up to the room to eat. The food was fantastic! I had an assorted tempura bento box and we ordered a lot of other items. My wife is a fried rice connoisseur and raved about it. Fresh, flavourful and well priced. Definitely will be back next time.”
