“Went into Harvey's in Brockville last night for a late supper, it's hard to find good food at a late hour. Was greeted by the GM very friendly food was great fries were a little cold so I asked for some hotter fries and she was more then happy to put down fresh fries for me and even brought them out to me well I enjoyed my amazing burger. “Been a while since there was a spot with food, and good Mo-town people vibes. This is a new place on main st, chef is a local fave I believe. Even in the fall/winter it was lively! Get the specials they offer!Parking: Main Street in Mo-town parking, 99% of the time, they're will be a free spot open.“
“We embarked on this vacation, family of 5 including 3 children, intending to stay next door at an airbnb I'd booked 2 months ago. Upon setting out on our vacation, correspondence with said host began to feel like a battle. To summarize a long story, it ended after 7 hours with being taken in by Janet and Mel at Mclears. They accommodated us at 8pm on a Tuesday even with no prior booking or payment. They'd heard our situation and without hesitation met us with open arms and smiles. She knew we hadn't packed linens as we were planning to stay where they'd be provided for us, so she took to her he, washed and folded her own linens and gave them to us to use for our stay. 5 stars is simply not enough of a rating; if there were more, I'd give them. Janet and Mel were truly amazing hosts and a blessing on what could've been a truly terrible vacation. I'm so grateful for them and every detail where they went above and beyond the call of duty. We will definitely be back and we'll never book anywhere else when visiting the Thousand Islands.“
“Visiting from Rochester, NY, and decided to grab dinner as we're staying close by. Wings were cooked well, though could've used a bit more sauce and the haddock fish fry was perfect. Seating service was fast and the server was there for us at good intervals, and it was slightly slow but judging on the amount of people, an expected wait for food. Will be returning if I find myself in the area again.“
“Had fun with family playing mini golf and eating ice cream. Great time, the course was a little aged which was the only reason for 4 stars but overall great time. Fun course and the ice cream was smooth and delicious. The prices were reasonable as well.“
“I had the pleasure of dining at Ella's on the Bay last night with some friends and was blown away by the food. All so fresh and delicious; handmade pasta, perfectly cooked fresh shrimp, fresh and beautiful greens in the salad. The atmosphere was beautiful, cozy, warm, and very welcoming... I am just over the top impressed with the whole experience. This new chef the owner has brought in has elevated this restaurant from a nice north country spot to an experience and menu typically only accessible in the larger cities like Ottawa or maybe Syracuse... I will absolutely become a regular.... Thank you so much for this wonderful treat .....“
“Bigger is better! The burgers are amazing! Bacon Blue burger is the best with the crispiest bacon! The ribs are fabulous! Fish fry is not to be missed! Love the shoe string fries! Get there early as they really do cook to order. Marcy is a great server and we always have a good time when we stop in for dinner. Still amazing!“
