“We had great meals - shrimp basket & blue cheese burger & it was amazing. Courtney made fabulous cosmos & beer selection was great. Locals gave a hearty welcome to us out of towners. Carol runs a great operation! Don't pass this opportunity to enjoy some awesome food and great conversation.”
“Had fun with family playing mini golf and eating ice cream. Great time, the course was a little aged which was the only reason for 4 stars but overall great time. Fun course and the ice cream was smooth and delicious. The prices were reasonable as well.”
“They are delicious! The soft serve is perfect. The customer service is top-notch. I've never had an issue. The ice cream is rich and creamy! It doesn't disappoint. Great prices, too! If there is a line, it does move quickly. Definitely recommend!”
“The staff was welcoming, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere and surroundings were tastefully done, well decorated for the season (Halloween). The restaurant was clean including the washroom. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced.”
“We have a cabin down the road, and JK's is always our first stop when we come up for a visit. It's nothing fancy and that's why we love it - good, down to earth people and good pub food. Great prices too.”
“This place is literally the BEST! Centrally located for all the local lakes. Great selection of ice cream, sundaes, and shakes! Awesome outdoor seating area with seats and picnic tables. Cool vintage pin ball game inside (pre and hopefully post covid). We go every day during our summer vacation.”
“Newer place, comfortable. Friendly staff. However no matter which Starbucks I go to my same latte tastes slightly different at each one. They were out of decaffeinated coffee beans again.”
“Food was good. Portion size is huge! Service is a bit slow so you need to know that before you go here. It's a very old bar/restaurant. Prices are reasonable. Staff was friendly. Well worth a visit.”
“It is in a En Route station which has bathrooms , gas, a little store and other food choices like Tim Horton . Convenient as it is off highway when you come from the Thousand Island bridge heading for Montreal.”
“No problem at all with the speed of service.(Was there during supper rush) Sub got made within 5 minutes and I was out the door. Line behind me was moving fairly quick and didn’t have to wait to order. Sub was very delicious. Don’t let some of these reviews fool ”

“Was very sceptical because of the ratings, but was pleasantly surprised. Very helpful, generous and friendly staff. Normal food for a Tim’s. Wait time was average. They forgot to order our coffee, though.”
“We embarked on this vacation, family of 5 including 3 children, intending to stay next door at an airbnb I'd booked 2 months ago. Upon setting out on our vacation, correspondence with said host began to feel like a battle. To summarize a long story, it ended after 7 hours with being taken in by Janet and Mel at Mclears. They accommodated us at 8pm on a Tuesday even with no prior booking or payment. They'd heard our situation and without hesitation met us with open arms and smiles. She knew we hadn't packed linens as we were planning to stay where they'd be provided for us, so she took to her he, washed and folded her own linens and gave them to us to use for our stay. 5 stars is simply not enough of a rating; if there were more, I'd give them. Janet and Mel were truly amazing hosts and a blessing on what could've been a truly terrible vacation. I'm so grateful for them and every detail where they went above and beyond the call of duty. We will definitely be back and we'll never book anywhere else when visiting the Thousand Islands.”
