My husband and I took our two mothers - 90 and 94 for a Mother’s Day lunch today (May 10th). There was no Seniors Menu so we asked if it was possible for one of our Mothers to order off the kids menu. Nothing to do with price - just the quantity is better suited for them at their age. The waitress came back and said the owner said no. We ordered a full size meal. The food came and all was quite tasty but as expected there was a lot of leftover. At the end of the meal my 90 year old Mom made the comment to the waitress that at Fat Les across the street they let Seniors order off the kids menu. Next thing we knew the owner was standing at our table and was VERY rude. Telling us that (loudly) that he lost money on the kids menu, that people could just order and share and ended with “if the food is better at Fat Les then go there, and proceeded to walk away”. (Note - there was never any mention about the quality of the food)
We tried talking to him to explain it was more about the waste. He just talked over us.
Zero customer service or appreciation.
Even though the food and service was good we will NEVER go back.
What disappointed us the most was that it was a terrible ending for what was supposed to be a fun Mother’s Day lunch and he showed no respect for the fact that we had two very elderly people with us.

The food was lovely. We had a beef & mushroom pie, lobster wrap, beef burger topped with bacon and cheese, and a shrimp and vegetable stir fry. Lots of care was put into serving us a lovely meal. Even the kids pizza seemed homemade! Kind service, too. Highly recommend this place.

We went for the first time today to Finnigans. The woman that took our orders was relaxed, professional and friendly. Our food was just like homemade. The portions were generous but not overwhelming. Vegetables were well prepared and tasty, and came with every meal. We felt welcomed and the atmosphere was cosy and warm. The only downside was that the restroom was really chilly.

Popped in last night for have a bite to eat, couple pints, and listen to some live music. Aside from being out of all their Irish beers on tap, it did not disappoint. Special mention to Tamara who, after delivering the bad news about the beer, was able to recommend an alternative which was very nice. The Fish and Chips were great, and the service was excellent :)

Visited here on the holidays with some friends. The waitress took forever to serve us and was chatting with her friends also took long for our food. When we were done we asked for our bill from another waitress who was working she didn’t respond till finally saying “yah I heard you the first time!” Raising her voice. Then the other waitress came with our bill. Rude service and terrible food! Never stepping foot in this place again.
Edit: yes. October 12th around 4 it was a younger and older server both women

We shared the taco nachos, looked like a lot but they were stacked that way. Big empty space in the middle , not enough toppings, dry and cold meat.
Was craving a classic breakfast and I got just that! Eggs perfectly done how order bacon crispy just as order. Quick friendly service! Very satisfied and the perfect portion size to leave me full and for the price you can’t beat it.

water came with a bug in it.... daily special soup came lukewarm, fries tasted old and stale. lobster roll didn't taste like anything, and the bread wasn't even browned. got the apple crumble as a dessert, but they didn't have ice cream, came half warm, and still cold in the middle from the freezer...

One of us was allergic to onions and when asked we are told the food order did not have onions but it did.
