You must be prepared to be surprised by a delicious meal. They don’t serve regular bar food at the Barley Mow. Everything we tried was delicious. Meals made with tasty and carefully selected ingredients. Original recipes and excellent service.

Drove from Kingston to have burnch with our son and his family. First they didn't offer a boster seat for our 15 month old grandson. We gave our order at 10:15. Two large tables came in at 10:20. The server blamed the large tables on our food being slow. We told her to get our bill at 11 my husband was waiting at the bar to pay for what we had consummed as the rest of the group was leaving at 11:05 she comes to the table with the food and asks if went want her to box it up to take home. We had a hungry and tired child so no. Went done to Timmy's in and out in 10 mins . Thanks Barley Mow for the OJ and coffee

Ordered food from Skip- donair was delicious. The Jasmine rice that I paid an extra $2.99 for, was sticky, flavourless, Overcooked and barely warm (donair was hot). Huge Reservation of ordering again is that they don’t use any of the Tamperproof stickers to seal the bag or the containers. Even though the Donair was delicious overall, it was a waste of money.
Approved by the Captains of Kingston and that says a lot.

Very average food, friendly service but not very attentive. Not offered water and getting a second cup of coffee even when ordering dessert. Wouldn’t go back because lots of other places to eat close by. I had great company so it wasn’t a complete bust.
Parking: They give a military/veteran discount.
