My wife and I are visiting from out of town and this has been our favorite restaurant. More quirky than fancy but the food is from a 5 star standard. Definitely recommend over the over rated places like the Mill down the street. The service was great and food even better. We recommend the omg dip.
I made a reservation for June 20th and wasn’t sure what to expect…it was wonderful, food was delicious, service was excellent and the owner so kind and friendly…. Small and quaint but brought us back to the 80’s. Baked Brie, shrimp dishes and Mediterranean platter was to perfection!!! I highly recommend this gem. Thank you for a great experience…
They close at 8pm - we made a reso for 730 as we were on a boat cruise til then....boat was late - we called Explained asked if they wanted us to come or skip - please come! Service was unhurried - including a 15 or 20 minutes after we finished desert with the chef/owner! Truly a great meal and great experience with a family that not only understands what it takes to serve a great meal - but truly understands the meaning of Hospitality! We will be back! Rick & Abbie
We enjoyed it so much we went 2 weekends in a row
The grilled Brie and bacon is back on the menu!
Great food, fun decoration and friendly staff!
First things first. If you call for reservations, don’t be put off by the somewhat detailed and demanding recording. Nor by the prominent sign placed at the entryway with instructions on dining etiquette. While I admit both were off-putting, once I met the hostess, she could not have been more gracious or helpful-so I put it all down to the fact she’s detail-oriented and sincere in her desire to create a great dining experience for all.
And it was!
Our table of 5 enjoyed (individually) the filet mignon, the ribeye, the pork chop, lobster bisque, the Mediterranean platter, and Arancini. One word: SPECTACULAR! Every dish was beautifully plated, colourful, perfectly cooked and appealing to the eyes and palate. Portions were large. Seasonings were blended with precision, and what was hot, arrived hot, what was cold was served cold!
This was a pre-concert meal and we had plenty of time to visit, eat, and make our way to BAC ahead of the show.
If you’re into nostalgia and quirky little pieces from the past, you’ll love the ambiance. So many items prompted smiles…and conversations, evoking good memories!
Come, sit for a bit, and savour. You’ll be glad you did!
Always great food, service and price!
Amazing hosts, fabulous food. Would recommend to anyone. One of our favorite go to places!
15min late for reservation 7:20pm refused to seat us because “it’s too close to closing”.
They were polite about it though.

This restaurant fell far short of expectations, despite glowing reviews. The $30 Alfredo pasta was disappointing—oily, with a split sauce that should have been caught by the kitchen or server. At this price, basic quality control is essential. We didn’t address it during the meal, partly to avoid tension and partly due to the owner's harsh response to criticism.
After paying, we found a $17 overcharge, including a dessert we didn’t order and an unexplained 9% tax instead of 5%. Where is that money going? Check your bill carefully if you eat here.
Based on the defensive responses to similar reviews, I expect criticism for posting this, but I feel it’s necessary to help others avoid a similarly frustrating experience.

First time in a while and was thoroughly impressed! Great retro atmosphere, attentive and professional service and food was perfectly flavoured, cooked and presented! Wish I had room for dessert and will be back again soon!

Food was okay , with the 4.6 review note and high price for what we had . I was thinking that it's ganna be good but it was only okay . The pasta only tasted like pasta no seasoning. The fish was okay but The mash patatos was missing some seasoning too it tasted nothing. Not worth the 100$ for two People.
