Mainstreet Bar & Grill Reviews
Although the location is amazing on the lock we were unable to sit on the patio due to a shortage of servers. I noticed the menu we were given did not match the one on the website right away. Several things were missing. I ordered their smoked brisket sandwich with fries and my husband ordered the hoagie sandwich only to be told it was discontinued. Then why was it still on the menu? Great location, good food and Amazing staff! However, ownership needs to realize that slave labour has been abolished! May 12, bar is completely full and every table full.... and.. ONE staff! Disgusting management. You can do better.
We were more than pleased at the resturant today Monday Aug 5…we sat on the deck facing the lift lock and had a tremendous lunch…we took out friend Nancy for her Birthday today and we’re served by Valeri an amazing host and server…very pleasant and warm….made you feel comfortable…highly recommend Mainstreet Bar and grill…

Mainstreet Bar & Grill offers a beautiful waterside patio with a great atmosphere and good food. Customers praise the friendly staff and excellent service. The patio has lovely views, and the location is great. Fish and chips, chicken fingers, and brisket sandwich are all excellent. The wait is worth it, and the food is good. The restaurant is often busy on sunny days.
The restaurant has a great scenery and delicious food. The service is excellent, even when the staff is busy. The cream of chicken and vegetable soup is highly recommended. However, some customers have had mixed experiences, with attentive and fast service during one visit, and slow and underwhelming service during another. The burger menu could be improved by using real cheddar cheese instead of processed cheese, and the spinach dip could use more spinach and less cream cheese. Despite these minor issues, the restaurant is dog-friendly and offers a beautiful view from the patio, making it a popular destination.
