This is most likely one of the worst experiences I've had in my entire life. I tried to order a burger and the woman behind the cash register, who was rude from the get go, asked me to state what toppings I want. When I asked if I could get caramelized onions, she rolled her eyes and snickered at me and then after I requested for the burger to be well done she said "Where the hell do you think you're at?!" Because to this person asking for meat to be well-done was apparently the equivalent of asking for the Nilgai antelope meat and I had no right whatsoever to make such request! Wow! Horrible, atrocious experience and unparalleled rudeness!A message for the owner - just because we're not from here doesn't mean we don't often go to this area and also have lots of friends and relatives who I'll make sure learn of this encounter. There is absolutely no reason why your staff should ever be this unbelievably rude to anyone let alone a paying customer!

RACIAL PROFILING. Went with a group of friends looking for lunch but were denied entry despite the restaurant being empty. Another guest leaving the establishment, who was chatting with the hostess, pointed that we might enjoy the eatery across the road better. At this point we realized our business was not welcome here and left. Pizza Alloro down the road is very friendly without any hosting issues.

Racist establishment. We went to the restaurant as a group of 8 and immediately upon arrival we were met with the hostess who looked at us and denied seating citing “capacity issues” while the restaurant was 80% empty. We asked the server if we could atleast get some hot chocolates or coffees to go since it was freezing outside. She said that we could stay outside and let her know what we wanted. We requested to see the menu to which she snapped and asked why do we need a menu if we were just going to order hot chocolates and coffee. We realised that we were being racially profiled and decided to take our business elsewhere. The hostess slammed the door on us.

I went to the ice house restaraunt today, it's an old house in a small town that offers 4 kinds of fish and chips, my partner and I went in not expecting much. But instead we were greated promptly, and welcomed by the smell of cinnamon and Christmas music. Our server, elizabeth, brought waters to the table and told us the nightly special, which included homemade soup! Great atmosphere, with pieces from local artists and charming fire place. We ordered a burger and a the nightly special of 1/4 chicken. Wow! Compliments to whoever cooked that, it was homemade and delicious. I will add that the place was also busy with what looked like a Christmas party at the time, and I only saw one server on shift. Very impressed with the service and attention to detail. The smells, the lights, the music, the kitchen staff laughing from the back, it felt like the it spot in this small town. Highly recommend!
First time there. They were very busy do to other restaurants no longer open for breakfast. Our server told us right away it could be a few minutes but she would do her best. Our food was great and it didn't take that long. Good coffee as well.

Have been driving by this place for almost a year since moving to Buckhorn and thought it was about time to try it out. Won't be driving by anymore, party of three bison burgers and Pollock, everyone enjoyed their meals, portions are very good and other dishes coming from the kitchen smelled and looked great. Going to check out breakfast here soon, must be good parking lot is always busy in the morning. Highly recommended will be back soon.
