Made a special order for some vegan croissants in advance and felt like some were potentially from the day before as they looked different . Also bought a frozen cake and when it was brought to room temp we noticed it was very stale . Wasn’t impressed …

I came here on Saturday to celebrate a mini achievement with my mom, we came at six or around two hours before closing. I’m not sure if it’s because it was so close to closing, but the donuts were stale and not soft at all. The topping on the birthday cake one had gone stale as well.

I’m surprised they don’t do it in two batches so that by the afternoon, so some donuts are still fresher than others. Immediately after eating the donuts, my mom and I got diarrhea. I had to use the bathroom three times with the rest of the night and had stomach aches.

I usually love donuts, but these did not meet up to my expectations, we did get try hot chocolate and a latte and those were really good so we would come back just for the drinks, but not the donuts.

As you can see from the picture, I didn’t even finish the donuts because of the stale illness and the stomach ache they gave me.

Summary: drinks are good vibe, and atmosphere are very nice love the aesthetic of the place, customer service was good. Nothing too special. donuts were a two out of 10.

This is a local family owned shop with several locations around the GTA. It is not cheap, but they have an excellent reward system through the Bloomers app, that produces bonus treats!! Not like some point systems that you can never collect enough to get anything. They have a great selection of donuts- my favorite are the filled donuts (decadent). I love the zucchini chocolate chip muffins (even though they are GF), and the lattes are excellent. Try the Biscoff latte if it is available. In the frozen section, the quiche was pretty good and easy to heat at home in the toaster oven.

One star. We visited Bloomer’s Bakery on Plains Road East in Burlington on a Monday night and were very disappointed. A dozen doughnuts cost $50, which is far too expensive. The doughnuts were dry, tasted like day-old stock, and lacked the freshness you expect when you’re looking for the best bakery in Burlington. Every flavour was buried under overly sweet toppings, making them all taste the same. Instead of a treat, it felt like a diabetic coma in your hand. If you’re searching for fresh doughnuts or the best bakery experience in Burlington, this is not the place to find it. We will not return.

I needed birthday cupcakes and ended up with those, cake batter ice cream, and donuts for the next morning! Everything looked so good, it was hard to choose!

Of all the doughnut places in Burlington, this is the one I always come back to! Friendly service, delicious treats! 😋 I've had the coffee a few times and it was also good!
Only street parking in front, so I'd advise parking nearby and walking over.

I hate donuts… these are not donuts, they can’t be. We love this place so much we will drive from Milton to get it, multiple days in a row. My sister has dreams about Bloomer’s—I wish I was kidding. 5 stars!!

Absolutely delicious, it's good I don't live close by or I might be scarfing down 3 a day 😨 If I hadn't known it was plant based I wouldn't be able to tell the difference either. I'm honestly convinced anyone saying this isn't delicious is a troll. Staff were also friendly btw 10/10 😁
