These are hands-down the best donuts I’ve ever had!

Went in to check out their gluten free offerings. Just treats - they'd do well selling something from a local bakery. The taste, quality and price for a carrot mini loaf was spectacular. I would go back for sure. Nice staff, cute little spot. Everything is vegan also, which is nice. No photos, I ate it too fast!

Very nice Cafe, with good service and delicious vegan food. Mainly donuts! They are the main reason we go to Bloomers, but we also enjoy the pot pies, croissants and the variety of frozen foods they have. They also have great coffee. We will keep returning here whenever we find ourselves in the area.

Good food

I recently visited Bloomers in Burlington and found it very accessible, even by city bus, which was great. The front-of-house staff were super helpful, especially when I asked about their gluten-free options.

My son and I shared a donut, and while the flavour was delicious, the icing and toppings completely fell off when we cut into it, which made us wonder if it might’ve been from the day before (we visited before 11am).

I was advised to freeze the gluten-free bagels because I planned to serve them the next day. Unfortunately, when I took them out, by the afternoon they were rock hard. It makes me wonder if they were already a day old when sold …. especially since I paid full price.

Have been getting these donuts for about a year. For being vegan, I find them to be delicious! They may not be the cheapest, but they are not small and for the ingredients I think it's fair!

I knew about this bakery from Toronto and I'm happy to see it closer to Hamilton! Plant based options only and they have a points system for future purchases!

I stopped in bright and early on a weekday morning visit to Burlington to find a full display case with a huge selection of donuts and other treats. It was so hard to decide! I bought 6 donuts including 2 Tiramisu, Strawberry Shortcake, apple fritter, apple pie and pumpkin pie and WOW! they are delicious. They are definitely not your run-of-the-mill donut shop donuts! The donuts were all very moist and very sweet. What a treat! The young woman behind the counter was very friendly and helpful.

I have given this place a number of chances and I hate that I have to write a review like this for a vegan place I’ve tried so passionately to support.
I’m not sure if it’s just this location, but the customer service absolutely sucks. I’m bewildered why the owners have chosen those who work there to be the face of their brand. Many times in the past year or two, I’ve walked into this shop, and thwre has been loud ethnic music blasting out of the speakers and/or employee talking to someone on the phone in their ear pods. I have continued to give this place a chance, even after a major screwup with one of my cake orders last year (on top of the cake being way too sweet and dense that we couldn’t even eat it), because I know they are a small family-owned business and I so desperately want to support their vegan products.
The most frustrating: The gentleman that works there needs to find another career. He continuously messes up orders. I can’t hear what he’s saying half the time and have to ask him to speak up multiple times, and it seems like he just doesn’t want to be there. I feel like I’m bothering him every time I walk in the door. Most recently, he was about to overcharge me and I only caught it when I questioned why the total amount showing on the register went down by so much after only taking one small item out. He responded ***WAY TOO CASUALLY*** that he had accidentally put two of an item in the box… absolutely ZERO apology or “oops” or anything semi-remorseful followed after he said that. I was too stunned to speak, and didn’t even know what to say. I responded with something along the lines of an “uhhhh…. Okay….?!” This employee desperately needs to be taught proper customer service and perhaps also needs to grow a bit of backbone. Or he just isn’t meant to be there being the face of your brand at the front lines. If he was my employee, he would have been fired long ago. I’m honestly not sure if I want to come back again… every time I enter and leave it just seems to ruin my day and vibe.

Wonderful! How refreshing to go to a donut shop where I can eat anything on the menu. Great service, kind staff, peaceful atmosphere. The flavored donuts are great, but the plain glazed and cinnamon sugar are the must-haves. Delicious!

I ordered donuts for a family event with a vegan family member. The donuts were a huge hit and no one could even tell they were vegan. I will definitely be going back

It was my 40th birthday and everywhere else was closed for last minute shopping for a cake on the Labour Day weekend.

I decided to get the cookies and cream cake. There was no stale date, or no date to when the cake was made or produced on the packaging of the cake.

I was able to talk to the manager as I was concerned about the stale date.

I understand that this may cost additional overhead, but in the long run it will be good for customers to be aware of how fresh their product is, without guessing to know if it’s stale or still edible. Making slight adjustments to their brand will help long term gains in revenue.

Cake was also too sugary, and wasn’t that tasty either.

Management was nice, but I would try their other products other then their cake in the future.
