bloomer's Burlington

This is a local family owned shop with several locations around the GTA. It is not cheap, but they have an excellent reward system through the Bloomers app, that produces bonus treats!! Not like some point systems that you can never collect enough to get anything. They have a great selection of donuts- my favorite are the filled donuts (decadent). I love the zucchini chocolate chip muffins (even though they are GF), and the lattes are excellent. Try the Biscoff latte if it is available. In the frozen section, the quiche was pretty good and easy to heat at home in the toaster oven.

One star. We visited Bloomer’s Bakery on Plains Road East in Burlington on a Monday night and were very disappointed. A dozen doughnuts cost $50, which is far too expensive. The doughnuts were dry, tasted like day-old stock, and lacked the freshness you expect when you’re looking for the best bakery in Burlington. Every flavour was buried under overly sweet toppings, making them all taste the same. Instead of a treat, it felt like a diabetic coma in your hand. If you’re searching for fresh doughnuts or the best bakery experience in Burlington, this is not the place to find it. We will not return.

I needed birthday cupcakes and ended up with those, cake batter ice cream, and donuts for the next morning! Everything looked so good, it was hard to choose!

Of all the doughnut places in Burlington, this is the one I always come back to! Friendly service, delicious treats! 😋 I've had the coffee a few times and it was also good!
Only street parking in front, so I'd advise parking nearby and walking over.

I hate donuts… these are not donuts, they can’t be. We love this place so much we will drive from Milton to get it, multiple days in a row. My sister has dreams about Bloomer’s—I wish I was kidding. 5 stars!!

Bloomers is my absolute favourite place for vegan treats! The donuts are amazing!

Absolutely delicious, it's good I don't live close by or I might be scarfing down 3 a day 😨 If I hadn't known it was plant based I wouldn't be able to tell the difference either. I'm honestly convinced anyone saying this isn't delicious is a troll. Staff were also friendly btw 10/10 😁

These are hands-down the best donuts I’ve ever had!

Went in to check out their gluten free offerings. Just treats - they'd do well selling something from a local bakery. The taste, quality and price for a carrot mini loaf was spectacular. I would go back for sure. Nice staff, cute little spot. Everything is vegan also, which is nice. No photos, I ate it too fast!

Very nice Cafe, with good service and delicious vegan food. Mainly donuts! They are the main reason we go to Bloomers, but we also enjoy the pot pies, croissants and the variety of frozen foods they have. They also have great coffee. We will keep returning here whenever we find ourselves in the area.

Good food

I recently visited Bloomers in Burlington and found it very accessible, even by city bus, which was great. The front-of-house staff were super helpful, especially when I asked about their gluten-free options.

My son and I shared a donut, and while the flavour was delicious, the icing and toppings completely fell off when we cut into it, which made us wonder if it might’ve been from the day before (we visited before 11am).

I was advised to freeze the gluten-free bagels because I planned to serve them the next day. Unfortunately, when I took them out, by the afternoon they were rock hard. It makes me wonder if they were already a day old when sold …. especially since I paid full price.
