Purchased a large chicken club baguette where the bacon was raw and cold on the sandwich. I showed the owner that the bacon was raw and he told me it was cooked. After having it put in the oven for a second time I checked the sandwich and it was hot. Thinking it was now cooked I are the sandwich and after getting home I started feeling ill and had two very wet and fowl bowel movements.

Thank God my wife did not take a bite from my sandwich.

I also noticed another customer also had the same sandwich, but she was smart and removed all the meat from it. I noticed the bacon looked raw on her sandwich as well. Hopefully she did not eat the bacon and chicken.

The owner should take better care when cooking the bacon making sure it is fried till it is brown and crisp before putting it in a sandwich. Bacon that looks pink to the colour and cold is not cooked bacon and can cause bocholism.

Still feeling a little ill this morning.

I recommend patrons should stay away from this place and that the chef take better care in his cooking skills and manners.

Oh by the way my son-in-law ordered a cheese pizza and it was tasteless needed more sauce and spices.

Seemed very dead for a weekend afternoon and shelves seemed somewhat empty with not much selection and what was there did not seem very fresh. croissant and cronut were ok but terrible and burnt cookie. For almost 5$ a cookie would have been nice if it was edible. Prices also seem high compared to quality.

Stay away, if you sit in the common area that is shared by the City of Burlington you will get yelled at and harassed by some miserable old lady in a scooter, the staff at Boccoccini will do nothing about it,

We ordered a prosciutto sandwich and loved it. It is
not only fresh but a bread crust also very crispy. The lady at the counter is nice. We enjoyed the sandwich at their patio: quiet area and pleasant area. Definitely we will come back whenever we have a chance.

The chocolate croissant was so light and delicious that I had to stop eating to take a picture and write a review!
The place is lovely and filled lots of Italian coffee, sandwiches, baked goods.
Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of parking next door, there is a clean washroom, overall a good place to visit and relax with coffee, also it right next to the beach so easy to walk to.

I am very disappointed as I bought the fresh bread from shelf and it had mold that spread out within one day. I ate it unknowingly and started feeling unwell. Never going back again.

Great sandwich we had for lunch. The bread was exceptional. I’ll gladly go back there and just get the bread.
The outdoor sitting area is a great plus since it’s not on a busy street.
