So many selections of meat pies! And a great size to get like 2 or 3 to split with someone.

Staff, as well as owner are equally disingenuous as they are rude, arrogant and unpleasant. I would get past the scathing attitude if the product quality was there, which it really isn't. Avoid whenever you can, plenty of other British shops around.

Love their victoria cakes and clotted cream, the latter is so good on baked goods!

Great store to have close by. We enjoy their pastries. Staff are great. Love that they offer reduced prices for "past sell by date" as (I presume) the import costs means the original costs are fairly high on some items.Only downside has been that sometimes they run out of stock and it can take a while to back fill.... But, hey I'm just grateful to get some of these goodies that we can't get easily here.

It is unfortunate that this place has a great selection of items because the staff are incredibly rude, particularly the ones who work behind the pastry counter.I keep going, thinking each time that the last time the person was not having a good day. After five times now and different staff each time, I have to believe it is a lack of customer service training. That, or staff just don’t care. Which is fine - I don’t have to spend my money there. Will continue visiting the British Grocer where staff are pleasant and courteous. And for whatever else, will grab at the London location when in town visiting family.

I love this store. I grew up in the UK so every time I go in, it's like a walk down (a very fattening) memory lane. The staff are so friendly and it's just a pleasure to shop here. Yes it's not cheap, but it's all imported so it's too be expected. All in all I highly recommend this place.

The negative reviews confuse me. This store is clean, well stocked and always friendly. They do sometimes sell older items, but they are consistently marked as such. Pasties here are a delight, but better when warmed. If you want some British food items, this is the spot to visit.

Went here for the first time today. Really wonderful little store. It's got everything you would want. The prices are very good considering they're imported products, I have yet to try any of the baked items and such but I'm looking forward to it.They do continue to stock their imported items that have gone past the "Best Before" date, but at a very generously discounted price. These items are perfectly fine in terms of quality though, and it very clearly says on the price label that they're out of date, for those reviews complaining ;)Definitely a great local business to support! Do consider coming here.

As from the UK it was good to see familiar brands. The downside is that some stock was past its use/sell by date. On this occasion it was the sachets of cheese sauce and the potatoes scones (which were frozen but at least 3 months old). Also the prices were very high compared to home, I understand a price hike for importing the products but still high in my opinion.

Incredible selection of food, sweets and freshly baked goods from the UK to choose from. I always stop by every time I'm in town.

I was so excited to see this store open close to home on Guelph Line. Went to check it out today with my daughter & I’m sorry to say that we were both very disappointed. The shelves were full of biscuits, candy & chocolates but baked goods & meat pies etc. we’re lacking. Some frozen but no fresh. The empire cookies were delicious & fresh but the scone was so dry that it was inedible. I believe they’re still in the process of “setting up” so I’ll give them the benefit of doubt so I’ll wait a few weeks & give them another try at a later date.Staff was very nice & helpful.
