Picked this spot on the whim for Valentine’s dinner, and we are so glad that we did. The food was nothing short of delicious. The tacos were sooo good! We’ll definitely be back in summer!

I’ve visited The Mule on Branch Street in Burlington (formerly Burro) several times now, both for dine-in and takeout, and the food is consistently excellent. Nearly every taco on the menu is fantastic. The Nashville chicken and OG fish taco are outstanding. The ceast and desist also great. And honestly - the Brussels sprout taco genuinely surprised me. I’m a big meat lover, but that one was very tasty despite being completely vegetarian. I’ve tried all of the tacos on the menu and they’re very well executed across the board.
I highly recommend takeout from here.
That said, it is a bit pricey at around $7 per taco, especially given that they’re smaller, mini-style tacos. Not really a fan of the interior décor/artwork (is a bit of an eyesore). But
Overall, great food and I highly recommend it.

Such an awesome experience!!! Came here for my birthday dinner and it was outstanding! Service was superb, our waitress was so fun and cheerful and so amazing my kids!!! The food was fresh, unbelievably flavourful and the variety is always so fun at The Mule! We went as part of the Taste of Burlington and it was extremely busy, but the entire staff did not miss a beat and they made sure we were well taken care of from start to finish! The overall experience was dynamite and such a fun birthday dinner! Thank you :)

Food was absolutely delicious and great value with the Taste of Burlington event. Service was great. Only took one star off for ambiance because it was so cold out and anytime the door was opened it made it unpleasant cold in the restaurant.

I've never been to this location before, and overall it was great and I'll definitely come back! Points lost only because I thought the music was a little too loud for the size of the place and I could barely hear my friend across from me. But the songs were all bangers!
I have been to the other locations which have always been good however this location is really lacking in many ways. Service was just “ok”. We placed our order and we received our appetizers in a somewhat reasonable amount of time however long after finishing them we waited a very long time for our tacos. The restaurant was not even half full yet the wait was really noticable. It's especially noticable when a table of four arrives much later than us and is already eating their tacos. When I finally did receive my tacos there was one forgotten. Overall the tacos were lacking in filling (scant), taste was okay but value definitely not there. I also finished my margarita long before the tacos arrived and because we were not checked on my glass was empty for quite a while . I would have expected more from “The Mule”. I also do not appreciate that your machines for credit payment have options for a minimum 18% tip which is calculated on top of the tax??? Why should we tip on top of the tax.?? I don't think our service was worthy of the 18% but it's awkward when the server is waiting and trying to be nice. Sadly we will not be returning to this restaurant nor recommending it.

Of all the restaurants I have reviewed The Mule is by far the best restaurant there is. The food is always exceptional!!! It continually exceeds expectation. Above that the staff is engaging, thoughtful and so very pleasant to deal with. The manager is also incredible, she makes everything special. If you are looking for an incredible dining experience look no further than!!

First experience was terrible. Tried a second time and again disappointed. Food cold and we were rushed out when the place was basically empty.

Good was great. Nice service but the seating is quite tight and hard to not feel like you are sitting on top of people. And no where to place your coat and purse etc. food was excellent though so overall a nice evening.
