A long standing greasy spoon style burger joint. The fries are fresh, handcut, and served unsalted - which follows their traditional way of serving them for decades. The bun and toppings were fresh and delicious. The burger itself was a bit of a let down. It tasted like a pre-made frozen burger you'd buy from a grocery store. The prices are really reasonable.

It was my first time here. I heard great things about the banquet burger.
So, I ordered the combo.
The place itself, not too impressive. It's been around a long time...and it looks that way. All the workers were talking with each other and it was very loud and not a pleasurable atmosphere.
The food was ok. I wouldn't drive 40 minutes again for it but it was a good enough burger.
The gravy was not something I'd ever order again...can't recommend it to others. Fries were decent, but not anything other than a 3* in my opinion.

A staple of Burlington downtown late night food for decades. It still has reasonable prices (in comparison to other eateries, current economy and inflation), the food is still decent, however the service and that neighborhood feel in the last couple of years has declined.

I had the Banquet Burger at around 2:30 in the morning after a solid six hours of karaoke—and let me tell you, it hit the spot. I was starving, and not only was the burger delicious, but the poutine was amazing, especially considering the price. Total win.

The customer service stood out just as much as the food. The staff member walked me through all the available burger add-ons, clearly explaining what was free and what had an extra cost (super helpful!). What really made the difference though was how thoughtful they were—when things got a little chaotic near the entrance, a kind gentleman quietly directed me to extra seating away from the noise. I didn’t catch his name, but I truly appreciated that gesture. I will definitely be back for more!

Wow I never knew this place existed and we ordered in and was so surprised. The veggie burger was delicious, lots of different topping options, banana peppers etc. the Greek salad was so fresh and lettuce was crispy and lots of feta. The Greek fries had feta and a side of oil dressing. Everything was really good and I’m going to add it to my list of food deliveries. Impressed by the taste, freshness, variety! Did not rate service or atmosphere as we ordered for delivery! Food was fantastic! Hit the Greek craving on the head! Pic is half eaten as it was so good!

Food here is cheap and delicious for a study snack if you're around the Burlington library or beach front, my first time coming here I got a poutine on a study break and I'd say it was around 4.2 stars overall, definitely a good kick above average but not the best I've had. Though for a diner style/ late night muck spot this place cannot be beat by any of its neighbors and I come here with family when I visit so it's good enough to keep coming for more😂✊.

This place used to be my go-to spot for salads. Unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill. Lately, the salads are kept in the fridge for hours. I kindly asked for a freshly made one because, despite tipping on previous visits, the quality had been disappointing.

When I requested a fresh salad, it felt like I was being treated as if I was in the wrong for simply asking. I was told, “Don’t worry, we made it at 4 PM.” That’s fine.......except it was now 10 PM. No one wants a six-hour-old salad at that point.

There needs to be more pride and class in how customers are treated. You never know who’s walking into your business. I even thanked them for making a fresh salad, and out of nowhere, another customer (who wasn’t involved) jumped in to defend them. I told him this had nothing to do with him, and unless he was paying for my food, he had no reason to speak on it.

I used to come here twice a week. Under the previous ownership, the staff took more pride in the service and food quality. Now, it feels like a cash grab. One of the cooks handles money and then jumps straight back into food prep without washing his hands. The last time I ate here, I had an upset stomach for days. I gave them another chance, but after today, I’m done.

As a loyal customer of 20 years, I won’t be coming back. Burlington has changed, and it’s frustrating to drive 20 minutes for food only to be disrespected. I wouldn’t be surprised if health and safety eventually shut them down.
