Ordered for the first time via Uber

Charminar Tandoori Mix Grill Non Veg - quantity and flavours were ok, nothing outstanding. They were extremely low on salt so surely had to add some (and lemon) to bring out the taste. Some pieces of Tandoori Chicken felt stale so be careful of what you eat.

Charminar Special Chicken Curry (Laal Chicken) - This one was really 'special' a total thumbs down - I have no idea what their recipe is for this dish - had less chicken and more bones. 0/10. If I was dining-in, I'd sent it back and not have paid for this.

Garlic Naan and Onion Kulcha were just as usual.

Boneless Mutton Biryani - had some flavour but overall not carrying any punch. Salan which came with Biryani and was bland. Had to add salt.

Gajar Ka Halwa was quite nice - not sure if it's the frozen one or made in-house.

Overall, didn't keep up to its name and location. Will give it another try some day, maybe.

Charminar delivers authentic flavors that took me right back to my childhood in Hyderabad.

The bread sampler had a great variety of naan, kulcha, and roti (if I recall correctly). The chicken korma was rich and flavorful, and the tandoori meat platter was perfectly cooked.

The chicken dum biryani was the highlight—fragrant, well-spiced, and just how it should be. Great food, good service, and a place worth returning to.

One suggestion to the management is to fix the run-down look with the shedding paint.

Very dispointed about charminar Indian cuisine , once I ordered food in Uber eat , and i want to updated my order ,so I cancelled the order with in 2 mints , and i called to uber customer support , she called to Charminar restaurant and they told already order prepared, I don’t know with in two to three mints , how they can prepare the food, that means they are serving the food already made one , then why they will mention the time it’s takes 30 to 40 mints to prepare the food no use to mention right , and the food taste is also not good , and I mentioned that i want spicy in note , but they will do what ever they want , and also I don’t know why the restaurant will mention the instructions like spicy, normal, mild ,no use right if they don’t even follow the instructions.
Overall unhappy with the food and taste.I prefer not to order the food again .

I thought that I’ll not give them a review but they made me. The quality has degraded more. They were bad as compared to Mississauga’s location and now they are serving uncooked food as well. I was not in the mood to deal with them but anyhow I made the call that my starters were uncooked. The staff said that whenever I’m in the area I can get it for no charge and said they’ve made a note for it.

Today I was in the area and called them as again I was craving for them(the ones that I liked in Mississauga but never got that exact ones here in Burlington however they have those same exact items mentioned in their menu. Anywho I called them and the staff kept me on hold for 6 minutes so I decided to not go there and cut the call. In a few minutes I received the call from them saying that can I tell the date and time that I got those uncooked starters. Are you serious? If you didn’t make the note how’s it on me to tell you these details? You should be able to see my orders in your system since I have ordered a few times from you!

So I’m done. Not going back here ever again

This is most inconsistent restaurant in the history of the universe. I’ve ordered multiple times, and one day the Biryani is really good, and next time it’s like eating rubber with stale yogurt. Not worth trying further.

i’ve been getting butter paneer with naan and rice from this restaurant for quite a long time, it was one of my favourite reasons to come to burlington.
unfortunately, after a string of multiple poor orders, i won’t be returning. last time i had almost no cubes of paneer in my order. this time it is flavourless, it is not a rich gravy anymore but just separated watery tomato sauce :( food was not hot and was very disappointing. really sad after being a regular customer here for a long time but it seems many reviews feel the same.
charm in at used to be my favourite place to get indian cuisine but i will unfortunately not come back. not sure if the menu changed, cooks changed, or what but wish it was still the same.

Don't try haaka. Worst soup with frozen vegies.
Daal makhni was below average.
Artificial flavors with stalled taste.
Staff was good, but not able to accommodate any complaint and gave us hot souce to make food taste better.
