The service that we got is top notch! We ordered just before they close and they still accept it. We ordered Pepper Steak w/ Onion and it is super good however the Sweet and Sour chicken, they forgot to give us the sweet and sour sauce however the owner delivered it in our house without extra charge and after hours already. My family is happy with the service. Will now be ordering from China Star from now on.

10 years ago this was my go to, local, 'cheap' chinese food place. After moving away I was in the area again and decided to give my old favorite a try.While the prices are still reasonable the quality and amount of protein has shrunk a lot. the 'egg' rolls are weak, the crimped 'ends' are most of the 'roll' and they only contain bean sprouts/ I would suggest they re-name the dish 'bean sprout pouch.'They also forgot several items which were supposed to come with our order (no sauce for sweet and sour chicken... really... )

To my surprise, I thought I couldn't find Chinese food here, but I didn't expect that not only did I find it, but for Chinese people, the food in the restaurant was completely in line with my taste, and the portions were large, even for my husband who eats out. For someone who has always had enough to eat, it was actually full, which shows that a little bit is a lot. It tastes great ???. Also, the price is the most affordable I’ve ever had in Greater Vancouver and the GTA.
