The service here is excellent, the staff is very friendly. Food is alright, tried an eggs Benedict, the Hollandaise sauce could be better. The eggs were poached to perfection, the fruit & potatoes on the side tasted great. Definitely worth visiting.

This is for the breakfast menu, not the Chinese takeout, which we actually like.I really hope that Management reads through the negative reviews for the betterment of their business. From the start, the atmosphere was very dim. Very quiet, almost felt a bit awkward walking in. Some diners looked over at our young kids when they were getting a bit loud (needless to say we were the only young family). Decor could use some refreshment. The server was polite but not particularly warm or welcoming. Again, this sense of awkwardness in the service. The man in the kitchen kept looking out into the dining room and our direction as well. He may have just been zoned out and not paying attention, but it was awkward nonetheless.I do not believe the food was fresh. The potatoes in the skillet were not crisp at all, and way too salty, and the food came out very quickly. The saltiness of the dish killed any flavour it could have had with the many veggies it had, the generosity of which I did appreciate. I was very hungry when I arrived, and I could not finish the dish. My kids got a chocolate chip pancake that was nothing special.Pricing was an issue. For $17, my skillet was pretty lean on the protein (bacon and sausage), and the flavour just wasn't there compared to other nearby breakfast places with a similar price yet a much superior quality and flavour. For almost $8, my children shared one large pancake with chocolate chips--no sausage or egg on the side for that price seems a bit much to me. Also, we had requested whipped cream on the pancake. During the interaction, we were under the impression the server made it sound like she'd give it on the house (is it extra? I'll just give it to you). Lo and behold, we got charged nearly $3 for a topping of whipped cream, which is more than halfway to the price of an entire can's worth. Due to the lack of disclosure of the price and the ambiguity of the initial interaction, the server was kind in taking off the whipped cream from the bill.Cleanliness was perhaps my greatest concern. As mentioned above, decor should be refreshed to give this spot a more clean look. However, that was the least of my concerns. The cups they gave had all kinds of water stains on them. The first cup they gave me literally looked crusty on some parts. My wife and I were disgusted. The second cup pictured below looks kinda gross and could use a proper wash and dry, but it was fine. The water in the pitcher the server was serving looked cloudy :( it was unpleasant to see. The layout to the bathroom is unfortunate. That hallway seems to be used for storage of some items, so I walked passed some jugs of maple syrup on my way to the restroom. Just didn't feel like something that should be in such plain sight of customers. I can appreciate that maybe space is at a premium, but maybe Management can re-organize that. What really did it for me and made me do this review was the state of the family washroom. The light switch is ridiculously high, which is an accessibility issue. No automatic buttons that I could see (I may have missed them). But literally, they are using the family washroom as storage!!!! Please reconsider this!!! How offensive that your customers would be changing their BABIES next to INDUSTRIAL CLEANING SUPPLIES!!! Please show some consideration for your customers' experience and re-organize yourselves. My son could not even comfortably dry his hands because of the equipment blocking the paper towels.I hope to continue supporting the Chinese menu of this restaurant, however, we will likely never again dine in or have their breakfast. Is it different owners? Maybe?Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. See review.Wheelchair accessibility: Narrow hallway to washrooms with items in the hallway. Don't recall of there were electric buttons or not for the doors. Light switch in family washroom was too high for someone who is sitting to reach.

Great breakfast spot for all your faves. Service was prompt and courteous. They happily substituted the ham in my western omelette with Turkey bacon to respect my dietary needs. Am curious to try their dinner time Chinese food menu. Will definitely come back!Dietary restrictions: Will accommodate dietary restrictions when asked.

First and last visit. Server looked miserable, coffee ead served in a cup that had about 5 different ring stains, juice in a glass full of chips. Stuck it out and ate the food which was medicore at best. Server seemed annoyed we asked for peanut butter for toast and spinach in the omelets was clearly frozen and had a freezer burnt taste. We will go elsewhere in future.

Very nice and quiet restaurant. Got the jiayan Chinese menu and it was really good food and portion sizes. I asked for mine to be made different and they were very accommodating. Will be going back here.

Our go-to breakfast place. Depending on the day and staff availability, we can still get breakfast here later than other “all-day” places that barely make it past noon. Prices are generally in the range of most places yet portions tend to be better than some other restaurants. Not sure what happened with other reviewers but the potatoes always taste fresh. The Chinese food tends to be more flavorful than a certain chain, chow mein for example, and when you dine in, you can get more authentic food (like hot pot!) Portions are fairly generous so bring a friend to share dishes. We usually get our food super-quick, but it does depend on how busy they are - like many restaurants lately, they can’t always find enough staff to cover busy periods. My one complaint would be that the air conditioning is not always on and it can get warm sometimes. The atmosphere is more diner than fine dining, for those who care. If it’s early enough, I recommend getting the meat lovers mix, basically an omelette with every single meat. Later, the Chinese food basics are all good, or get adventurous with the more traditional menu.

Unfortunately wont be back. It was warm when we walked in. Especially with the heat wave were having. You can smell strong oil in the air from the deep frying. I ordered Chinese food special which consist of fried rice broccoli and beef and egg roll. Rice very high sodium taste. There was a lot of rice on my plate enough for 4 people which meant less beef and broccoli. My husband had day breakfast. Very greasy.Service is friendly but not enough to draw us back. The strong oil smell honestly was to much.
