I’ve been coming to Demetres for over 10 years and am disappointed to say how much it has changed, unfortunately for the worse. Prices have nearly doubled while the quality has noticeably declined. I’ve attached two photos for comparison (the first from 2017 and the second from December 2025). At that time, waffles were $11, and simple requests—like adding whipped cream to the plate—were accommodated. On this visit, we were told whipped cream couldn’t be added because ice cream was included.
Our server, Owen, was excellent; however, the overall quality and presentation no longer feels worth the price.

My family has been coming to this location for over 20 years. While the menu and the staff has changed, the experience is always delicious! We were there on Thursday and Remas was our server. She was friendly and attentive, and the desserts did not disappoint. My only request would be that they be more generous with their toppings (the amount has become less and less over the years) especially for the cost.
