Authentic Italian food is well presented by professional servers. The reason I took a star is that the gnocchi has a curious, strong flavour I believe to be a smoked pepper. This should be included in the description, as it is the predominant flavor of the dish. My wife certainly would not have ordered it had she known there was a smoky flavour. We're looking forward to returning when they get their license back!

It's always a pleasure to enjoy a wonderful dinner. A real gem in Burlington. Not too many quality restaurants like Di Mario's. Should definitely have a Michelin star. ⭐

Service was amazing, and so was the food! You'd expect some hickups on Valentine's Day, but there was none. Well organized team!

Was in Feb 14, last night, ordered veal parmasean and got a veal chop the size of a tomahawk steak. Waiter said "it was pounded down" and this was $58!!! If they didn't have veal cutlets then say so, so l may choose another dish. I was so disappointed. It was tough and came with about 10 rigatoni noodles, which didn't have any flavor. I miss the original owners who knew how to cook Italian food. Well I'm back to Il'Fornellos in Oakville.

Had dinner here last night. Chose this place based on google reviews.I’m not sure if the chef had a cold and couldn’t taste the food but the amount of salt in ever dish (except for the onion soup) was a major disappointment. We had seafood pasta, gnocchi and shared the steak, all three main dishes were so over salted, we couldn’t finish them.Hopefully, this was a one off - I like salt in my food but this was beyond salty in every dish.Too bad, a cute spot but wouldn’t return. The three stars are for the amazing onion soup.

PHENOMENAL!! First off everything on the menu looked amazing so it was so difficult to choose what to get. Our party shared the charcuterie board which gave an excellent variety and quantity of meats, cheeses, and fruit that satisfied our table of 5. The burrata dish was so creamy, flavourful and dressed up very nicely. We each got different dishes, them being: the veal parm, the bone in veal Marsala, carbonara, linguine frutti di mare and the bolognese, 5/5 dishes were all done perfectly and delicious. All portions were BIG. For desert we shared cannolis and the limoncello semifreddo, both were fantastic but my favourite was the sweet/tartness of the limoncello. To top off such amazing food the service was even better as our waitress took excellent care of us.

I came here with my wife for a little lunch date. The atmosphere was nice, however they informed me that they had lost their liquor license, so we could not have a drink. The arugula salad we had was very nice. The bolognese was way too oily, could not even eat half of it. I tried scraping the pasta to one side of the plate to drain the oil to the other side but it didn’t help. The gnocchi was also fairly bland. We asked for a dessert menu, but after 10 minutes of waiting just passed once it came so never got to see it.I will go again, hoping it was just an off day.

We visited this restaurant in January 2024. We came for the pasta and the desserts. They serve complimentary focaccia with quality olive oil to dip it in. The bread is a reason to visit the restaurant, alone! The gnocchi was our favorite, the dish had many layers of flavor that complemented well. We also got the beef & pork bolognese, it was simple and flavorful. We got the ricotta cheesecake and hot chocolate cake. The ricotta cheesecake stood out to us.I will happily give service to this restaurant again and try more of what's on the menu.
