The service at Doma sushi is absolutely fantastic, and the food is prepared quickly. We ordered the red dragon roll, Hawaiian roll, and spider roll as appetizers and they were all very good but nothing special. The Hawaiian roll had a great combination of flavours and the spider roll was served warm. The quality of the raw fish, however, was not the best in both its flavour and texture. For mains we ordered the sashimi dinner the salmon teriyaki, the bulgogi beef, and the beef yaki udon. The sashimi dinner was actually good despite the other fish being mediocre. The salmon teriyaki was average. The bulgogi and beef yaki udon were both quite tasty and abundant in protein. Overall, everything at Doma sushi was good (nothing special) but we found it to be overpriced compared to other places.

I’ve been a regular customer at this sushi restaurant for some time now, and while the food has generally been good, the customer service—particularly from the young girl at the front—has consistently been disappointing. She comes across as rude and unprofessional, lacking basic customer service skills.

It's unclear if she's related to the owners, but regardless of her position, she should be trained on how to interact respectfully with customers. Good service is just as important as good food when it comes to building a loyal customer base. If this is how regulars are treated, I can only imagine how new customers must feel.

I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as it could impact the long-term success of the business.

This is some of the best sushi we have ever had!
Very good quality ingredients and the rolls are very well prepared. My wife and I have had excellent meals both dine in and take out.

Sushi is always good but the miso soup is not a good deal . $4 for this tiny cup , and all broth

This place is fantastic. We have been here four (Edit: fourteen) times now, and every time everything is perfect. Definitely the best in Burlington. Nothing has changed the quality of the food, of the fish is exceptional.

First time dining here. The staff are super friendly and the food is excellent and very well priced. My wife also thought it was the best green tea she has tasted (apparently they import directly from Japan). Will visit this place often.

We were on our way to the cottage and wanted to eat sushi. We searched on Google, and it recommended this place. The food was delicious, and the service was very good and fast.

I have been eating at doma for 5+ years. It used to be good when the owners husband was the lead chef but ever since he left, everything has gone downhill. I stopped eating at doma 2 years ago because they were serving “warmed up and microwaved frozen food” and served raw fish that clearly was about to go bad. I went back to the restaurant again just to see if maybe they bounced back from being horrible, but unfortunately the only good(mediocre) food that was given was the raw salmon( wasn’t even that fresh it was falling apart). The rest of the food that I have eaten for years and know the tastes very well looked off colour, tasted different in a bad way and even one of the types of fish was yellow and within 10 minutes(I was hesitating to eat it or not because I was pretty sure it had gone bad), had become more yellow and discoloured the other food. Not only that but the “white nest” at the bottom of most sushi dishes served anywhere wasn’t a white nest and more of a vegetable put through a cheese grater (the nicest way of describing how it looked is saying it looked like white fries). For reference they didn’t do this 2 years ago and almost everything else had gone from bad to worse. Not even the most basic and cheapest of fish to serve (salmon) was fresh. I would’ve given a 0 star because every time I ate there the last 2 1/2 years and gave them the benefit of the doubt, I got mild food poisoning. I gave it a 2 only because I remember what it used to be… it’s sad that the best place to eat sushi has become one of the worst
