Had the cake at church potluck. It was amazing. Usually not a fan of birthday cakes because they are overwhelmed with sweetness and cream. But this cake was light and fluffy and had a nice balance of flavors.

Have come here for years thanks to my fiancée! They have the best fudge brownies I’ve EVER had! My favourite thing I get here are the fruit fibre muffins! It’s my go to. The staff are always so lovely. They also do delicious birthday cakes that you and can customize!

I came across this bakery when we were grabbing coffee from the Tim Hortons located just opposite to it and on further search found out this to be a pretty old family run bakery which made me more excited to try it. I ordered my birthday fruit cake from here and they prepared it just as I wanted. I never found a place which prepared fruit cake as I preferred, but I finally found it. Without a second thought, I ordered my husband’s black forest birthday cake the next month, and it was beyond delicious. And they presented it just the way I wanted. Nice people. Very cute bakery. And very calm ambience and great aroma. Overall very satisfied!!

Such a beautiful shop and pleasant employees. I just happened to go by here and found this hidden gem. The food is fresh and the raisin biscuits and cookies are the best. Definitely worth to visit and explore the many options available.

We love buying our baked goods at Eastway Bake Shoppe. Its been a family tradition dating back to the late 1970’s. The service is wonderful. They have friendly staff that give you a warm greeting. They often remember what you like such as the Chop Suey Loaf which is absolutely delicious (and the staff will even set one aside for you if you phone ahead as they are so popular). We’ve ordered birthday cakes - you select everything and they aren’t expensive - just give 4-5 day’s notice. The pies are wonderful. The Nanaimo bars are the best anywhere! Great cookies too. You can get a loaf card 10th loaf is free. Highly recommended!
