I was able to find everything quickly. I was able to get my Covid shot at the pharmacy without waiting. Great store.

I used to frequent this location regularly for my morning coffee and grocery shopping, but I can no longer recommend it to anyone. Despite my loyalty to Fortinos, I urge you to avoid this particular store. Over the months, I have become increasingly aware of how miserable and upset the staff are to work… Could it be due to the toxic work environment? Bad pay?

The final straw for me occurred during my last visit at the self-checkout. An older white woman, possibly a manager, stood uncomfortably close to me—literally elbow-to-elbow—as I scanned a few items. This invasion of personal space made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unfairly profiled and I’m not even a person of colour… I also asked her for assistance which she ignored my request… It was both disheartening and upsetting, especially given my long-standing loyalty to this location.

The woman’s expression was one of utter misery, jealousy, and disdain. If she is so unhappy in her role, perhaps she should consider quitting. This experience has left a bitter taste, and I can no longer support a place where employees seem to harbor such animosity.

On the bright side that manager will forever be stuck at that miserable job working off pennies living paycheque-to-paycheque for the rest of her life so I’ve got no complaints. Karma much??

*** Not related to this review but I am shocked by the amount of people leaving one star reviews because Fortinos is somehow expensive for them… You chose to shop at a grocery store which is THE MOST AFFORDABLE PLACE you can go to… If you’re broke simply go to the nearest food bank. I used to shop at the finest grocery stores in Los Angeles and I must admit in comparison that Fortinos is so much cheaper and the quality of the food is so much greater.

Absolutely disgusting behavior from the manager of this location - Kyle. Head office needs to take action to better equip the store owners and managers on how to support their customers during racist attacks.

Absolutely disgusted as to what myself and my husband found on their sales floor. Found Salami expired from May 2024 At least eight packages were found they have started to turned green and crystallize.

Store staff could care less. Who is checking the meat that you’ve missed it since May. Extremely Disappointed makes you wonder what’s going on. Always finding expires at the superstore locations but never this past dated. Loblaws do better.

When racist events happen in your store, you are obliged to address them. Not shopping at any Fortinos or PC brands again..

I used to be one of Fortinos costumers but after what happened with the Muslim Hijabi lady in that store and no body helped her out or defended her , I don’t think I would ever visit again !
No room for racism in this country!

Good choices and a clean store.

It’s an unsafe place to shop. They show no regard for their customers, even when discrimination or racism occurs. The environment is unhygienic, and the prices are excessively high.

The staff are very friendly and know where everything is, also a great butcher and just a great overall atmosphere.

Ordered by phone, drove 15 mins there, to pick up my $32 slab pizza, drove 15 mins home and just opened the box to this!! Completely burnt and poorly made/mostly (burnt) crust.

Spoke to store manager at least I’ll get a refund.
