Absolutely Disgusting and Unhygienic Experience – Never Ordering from Gino’s Pizza Again!
I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience was so revolting that I feel obligated to warn others. I ordered a pizza from Gino’s Pizza through Uber Eats under the name Tom, expecting a decent meal after a long day. What I got instead was a stomach-turning, disgusting experience that completely ruined my appetite.
The pizza arrived lukewarm, which was disappointing but manageable. But as I was eating, I suddenly felt something odd in my mouth. To my absolute horror, I pulled out a long strand of hair embedded inside the melted cheese. It wasn’t just sitting on top – it was cooked into the pizza itself. This wasn’t some small thread – it was clearly a piece of human hair that had gotten baked right into the food. I literally felt like I was going to throw up on the spot.
I cannot express how disgusted and shocked I was. It’s one thing to have minor issues with a meal, but finding a hair cooked into your pizza shows a complete lack of hygiene, carelessness, and respect for customers. This isn’t just poor service – it’s absolutely unacceptable and a serious health concern.
What’s worse is that there was no way to report the issue directly to the restaurant. I tried contacting Gino’s Pizza to let them know, but there was no proper response or apology. I had to go through Uber Eats for a refund, but even then, nothing can compensate for the nausea and discomfort I experienced.
To whoever runs Gino’s Pizza: clean your kitchen, train your staff, and start following basic hygiene protocols. Customers shouldn’t have to worry about finding human hair in their food in 2025. This is beyond gross – it’s completely inexcusable.
I’ll never order from this place again, and I’ll be telling everyone I know to avoid Gino’s Pizza like the plague. This experience made me lose all trust in this brand. If you care about basic cleanliness and your health, do yourself a favor and order from literally anywhere else.
Disgusted and disappointed.

I am extremely grateful for Rabia at this branch in Burlington. She went about and beyond for us. She is incredibly kind and greeted me with a smile. Amazing service thank you Rabia!

Called ahead and was ready quickly. Got a small pepperoni pizza and it was terribly made. Not even my child would eat it. I won’t be going back to this location.
