Love the food, it is amazing! Chicken is great, crispy and the gravy is amazing! One of the best chilli chicken Ive had before. Only feedback is that there is a lot more chicken than rice. If there was a little more rice, this would have been the perfect meal. But outside of that, I definitely recommend coming to this spot!

Highly disappointed with the takeout quantity. Seems the same rice that fed 4 ppl in person only feed 2 when you take it home. Good food, can do better by keep quantity consistent as someone who enjoys your food.
It’s funny, I mentioned it to the waitress and she confidently said I can’t bring out the plate to compare and awkwardly I was like maybe I am wrong but nope, just another example of prices going up but quantity going down.

I always leave this restaurant completely satisfied. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is very pleasant, all at reasonable prices. What I appreciate most is that they don’t just claim to serve Halal food; they also display their official Halal certification.

I have been coming here for years now and when the HEAD CHEF is there the food is 10/5 - perfection, delicious every time. The best hakka food you will eat.
BUT they have new chefs and the two times when i’ve gotten take out and they cooked - the food was not the best, either too much masala and seasoning where it is overpowering OR no flavor at all and it tastes like nothing. Also the rice was not cleaned properly and so i could taste that.
I feel like the new/other chefs need to be trained to follow the head chef’s recipe exactly. I sincerely request management to please look into this. The head chef is an amazing chef and the food is perfect - please train the other chefs to follow.
You can instantly tell when the head chef prepares it vs others. If you are lucky enough to go in when the head chef is there - be ready for the best hakka food you’ll taste in the GTA. Otherwise, prepare for dissatisfaction, unfortunately (in my opinion), only the head chef makes the food well and perfectly.
I also got the wrong order twice but they were kind enough to say they would prepare the meal for me next time.
Overall the staff are very kind and professional. I always bring all my friends and guests here for the authentic hakka taste. They also give free fortune cookies and enough sauce/tissues. I think usually the head chef is there during the week days so i’ve been lucky enough for the food to be good.
