Halibut House Fish and Chips

Jeny was our waitress, her smiley face, & polite & speedy service. Jeny was very attentive. We ordered the Sunday Halibut special, 1 massive piece of Halibut, fries, & coleslaw. Mmmmm, it was amazing. The restaurant is decorated very nicely. The place looks great. It is a great place to eat with good prices.

two 13$ meals of 1extra piece of fish turned into A 72 dollar meal.Very unimpressed , tried to call in unable to get a hold of manager till apparently , tomorrow morning will not be back in .. been going there for like ten years.. could not believe this happened

Very surprised that my halibut looked like pre-frozen Captain Highliner. I’m not sure the fries are even fresh cut anymore. $25 is a lot for something that appears to be pre-battered pre-frozen.

I just had a delicious meal of halibut and chips!! The server Ace was very welcoming with a lovely personality ☺️

I ordered through Uber Eats. I asked for napkins and received none. The fish tastes like the oil it was fried in and it was no longer crispy. The fries came without salt! If you're not going to salt the fries, include salt in the package. I received more than enough tartar sauce packets. I would have preferred at least one lemon slice instead. The only redeeming part of the meal was the coleslaw which was excellent. I won't order from them again though.

We went for an early dinner of halibut on Wednesday. Fabulous from start to finish. The service was great, the food was great and the restaurant is always sparkling clean. Tried their hand battered onion rings for the first time. So good. No photos.... we just dug in. The food was beautifully presented though.

My third time visiting. Amazing service and excellent halibut batter fried fish. We ordered Halibut, Cod, Sweet potato fries, battered mushrooms and coleslaw. Our server accommodated all our requests and was really patient with us going back and forth with her about changing the order. We had a baby with us as well who slept peacefully, it wasn’t noisy at all and we all had a really nice chit chat lunch session

This has been a go to spot for me and my parents for years and will continue as it is just a simple spot to go to for fish and chips.

Food was amazing, good portion sizes. Was very nice that we were greeted on the way in, and immediately upon entering. Staff was knowledgeable, understanding, and very friendly.

Food was OK, place needs a bit more attention to detail, glass door very dirty, same as the floor under my table, customer service was terrible, I got my bill while we were still eating.
Something unusual for this location.

the pricing is ridiculous 15.95 for one piece of battered fish and it was mainly batter asked for sweet potatoes fries got regular fries. coffee was awful so strong. my hubbie had 22.00 meal with a grilled fish no bigger than 3×3 and a garden salad mainly Lettuce one piece of tomatoes and 3 pieces of red onion. never going back!!!!
