We have tried other fish houses and they were okay, but this place is always above and beyond. The food is addictive, the service is so friendly and warm and the atmosphere is cozy.

We have been looking for a A good fish and chip place. I have tried five different places in the last few months. I found the best tonight when we went to Halibut house on Dundas and Appleby. So good it was hot. It was crispy. Tender couldn’t have asked for a nicer fish and lots of chips and a fresh cole slaw. Clean, friendly and wonderful service and believe it or not homemade tartar sauce, which was delicious. We’ll be back to experience another wonderful meal thank you Dorothy Letang

Excellent service and such kind people that work there! Shehara and Shaditha were amazing with accommodating our family for a birthday dinner <3. Great place - highly recommend!

Hello dear diners, I would like to share a bad experience when I visited this place with my friends. They were very arrogant and rude. My order was not cooked .This experience shook me to the core. I would never visit this place again and would recommend others to avoid going there.
Ordered halibut and fries and halibut and onion rings. The fish came out overcooked and was pretty dry but the batter was nicely cooked. Didn't receive enough tartar sauce packets unfortunately when we ordered to go. Fries are huge but not seasoned with salt and the onion rings were pretty good.
Was a little disappointed that the fish turned out pretty dry though. 3.5/5

Love this place service is the best, the atmosphere and cleanliness is amazing. The service is above and beyond and the fish and chips are the best. Thank you for your excellent service.
Wheelchair accessibility: I have been disabled for awhile I don't require a wheelchair but a walker. It's all accessible and the disability washroom is so clean and lots of room to move around with wheelchairs, walkers, canes whatever you are using.

The fish and chips were delicious. The chips were light and fluffy and they don't salt them... but have it on the table for you to do yourself.

Fish and chip places are usually amazing or terrible with no in between. This place is amazing. Light tasty battered generous portions of fish. Perfectly crispy on the outside moist on the inside chips. Clean and comfortable. A great place in the neighborhood with friendly service. Will be back for more.
