I mentioned Halibut 'N' Malt Fish and Chips to a new friend and i provided the directions and we met there and had a wonderful time! The food was delicious , hot and very fresh - as usual! Maybe this is our Go To Spot on a day off! See you again!

The fish was perfect. Light-ish batter, crispy, fries were that perfect slight sogginess that goes with salt and vinegar. Look forward to visiting again.

Had lunch with a friend here. We both had halibut and chips. It was very good fish! Fresh and tasty. You can tell they have clean oil in the fryer. The waitress was lovely and didn't rush us at all. (We were catching up)
I will definitely come back.

We are regulars at this place and we absolutely love it. We have been going here for a number of years. It is the best fish and chips in Ontario.

I would give 4 stars if I could.

Cute fish and chips spot. Courtney was a great server, the perfect level of attentive while I brushed up waiting for my drivers test. My fish was fresh, batter was perfectly golden as if they just put new oil in the fryer. Not dark at all, I hate when it’s like that other places so I wanted to mention it. I didn’t even think to take a picture I was so excited to eat it. The haddock special is a good honest price at $13.99 for fish, chips and coleslaw. Honest to goodness down to earth exactly what I was looking for. Thank you.

Stopped there for the Haddock lunch special while I waited for my number to be called at DriveTest next door. The fish was surprisingly light and the batter very pleasant to eat. It was moist and the fries were cooked perfectly. The TarTar sauce and coleslaw were just yummy. I really enjoyed my meal. The lady who served me was also very easy to deal with and polite. I listened to her talk to some of the other guests there and the way that she handled them was gentle and welcoming. I will definitely be eating there again. Great fish on a Friday.

Popped in for a quick take out.
Took a little bit but it was Friday and most fish places are busy. The Halibut was great and good portion.
