The food is very tasty. But the service is very low. The staff can't cope with the large flow of visitors and everywhere is dirty.

I have been in contact with customer service 4 times in less than 24 hours. I received a damaged headboard (we witnessed the delivery drivers drop the product when unloading it from the truck). They told us to phone IKEA and explain what happened so we could order a replacement and a pick-up for the damaged headboard. Prior to phoning IKEA we opened the rest of the boxes and realized 2 items were missing (lamps). I promptly phoned IKEA to explain everything. I also told the customer service rep that the delivery was 45 minutes late, the window for delivery was 9:00a.m. - 13:00 p.m. and they arrived at 13:45 p.m. He did not apologize at all for this inconvenience. The customer service rep opened a ticket and gave me a case number. We scheduled a replacement for the headboard, scheduled a pick-up for the damaged headboard and sent in a replacement for the lamps. All was fine, until I received a call in the evening. This customer service rep left a voicemail, as I was at work, stating there was human error and we would need to complete the order again. I phoned back the same night and spoke to another customer service rep. He explained that the earlier case was cancelled due to human error. He said that because there were multiple issues with my original order there needed to be separate case numbers for each issue. He was helpful, we proceeded with rescheduling the replacement for the lamps, rescheduling the replacement for the headboard and rescheduled a pick-up for the damaged headboard (on separate case numbers). This resulted in a delay for the replacement headboard by two days compared to the previous customer service rep I spoke with. At this point I was understanding and was okay with that solution. I received my emails with confirmation etc. I asked about the fee showing on the emails I received and he said to ignore them as I would not be charged due to the circumstances because they were replacements. I thought everything was good to go until I received a text via IKEA this morning stating I needed to make a payment for the new replacement headboard to confirm delivery etc. I phoned customer service, again. This customer service rep told me that the headboard is out of stock and we will not be able to place a replacement order until next week once my old damaged headboard is picked up and even then it won't be confirmed for 48 hours afterwards whether this order will be processed due to stock levels. I then asked if I would be reimbursed my $170 for the headboard in the meantime. He said whatever I decide to do (return or order a replacement) this won't be dealt with until the pickup of the damaged headboard is complete. This is my first time ordering anything through IKEA and I was honest with him saying that I am truly not pleased. It was not his fault that all this has happened but it is beyond frustrating going back and forth in less than 24 hours over something that could have been avoided. We literally witnessed the item hitting the ground during delivery. I explained my frustrations to the customer service rep. He apologized (he was the only one out of the four customer service reps who showed compassion). He said he will mail a $50.00 IKEA gift card on behalf of the inconvenience. Then I asked if I could use the gift card towards the headboard (as a credit) and be refunded $50.00 of my own from the original bill of $170.00. He then told me that was not possible and the gift card had to be used on my next purchase. I said okay, and asked if I would be able to refund the headboard and then reorder it using the gift card. He then told me that if I refund the headboard I will not be receiving the gift card. I was not happy with this answer as I have had to deal with these inconveniences (ordering, cancellations and reordering) which all could have been avoided in the first place. My timeframes have all been pushed forward and this is not okay. I honestly do not feel like a valued customer and this being my 1st interaction with online ordering at IKEA has left a sour taste in my mouth. I do not feel

The IKEA restaurant is a hidden gem with its combination of great prices and excellent food quality. The dining environment is aesthetically pleasing, providing a beautiful setting for your meals. I've visited twice, and each time, the experience has been consistently satisfying. Saturdays tend to get busy, and using the ordering machine might mean a bit of a wait, but it's worth it. The cake is absolute fire, and a thoughtful touch is the availability of outlets to charge your phone. A solid choice for an enjoyable dining experience.

I'm torn writing this review as I used to love IKEA food but this time just wasn't it and I wanted to share my experience. The folks staffing the cafe were friendly and it seemed fairly clean but (and I'll spare you the details) we are preeeeeeetty sure we got mild food poisoning specifically from this meal.My husband's plate of meatballs was just lukewarm not hot (red flag) and the salmon I received was drier than a hounds fart as my dad would say lmao The highlight was the Daim cake and raspberry sparkling sofa, both of which were delicious. Two stars for the staff and the desserts.Pro tip: if you want to take a little gamble and dine here, make sure to order via the self serve kiosk option and save yourself a ton of time.

The food was pretty good (especially the meatballs). The quality of the food was mostly good other than the fries being stale. The service needs major improvement as the employees were tossing the food to you and responding with an rude tone of voice. The atmosphere very much made up for the service. It was a beautiful restaurant with nice design and view. Overall I would give the ikea restaurant an 6/10.Parking: The parking was very good on a busy day with lots of spots.
