My review is overdue. We've been coming to Jakes for a long time. Jake's is always great, never disappoints! The food is well prepared, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The ambiance is pleasant, not too loud, not too bright, very cozy. I always feel like we're a part of Jake's community. I love their fish (salmon, rainbow trout), burger, tacos, chowder, specials....well, I love everything I tried, to be honest.

Great place for celebrating something or someone special

Sat for 12 minutes without so much as anyone coming to the table to offer water or take a drink order. Got up and left. Won’t be going back.

Always a nice dinner, Oysters and Halibut. It's best not to sit in the bar area for date night.

Had lunch at Jakes. Excellent fish tacos. Friendly bartender but regulars at the bar a little salty as I was a new face.

If you love fresh oysters this is the place fresh and nicely served with all the sauces .If you do go hit happy hour there menu is good with specials on wine and food .. Also a great location if your on your way to falls or Toronto great stop very family oriented .. I would highly recommend

Worth every penny. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the brisket tacos, shrimp tacos for main and Korean beef bites for appetizer and all three were amazing. Server was quite pleasant and responsive. Saturday night was definitely fully booked and we sat at the bar which was great too.
