Ordered for takeout was told that they don't deliver and I asked for address she said they couldn't give up the address to Google it. So I googled it and still couldn't find the restaurant because there's no sign on the building just a pop-up sign on the sidewalk.Upon arrival my order came to $20.91 she asked me if I wanted to change from 25 I said yes she only gave me $3.10 kept a dollar for herself and when I got back only to open the bag to find no cutlery I will never order from this restaurant again! Luckily she can use the dollar because I'm sure nobody tips her and I'll save my money next time in order from Mandarin

This was the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten in my life. A simple order of sweet and sour chicken and vegetable fried rice with egg rolls. Everything tasted like it was old food repackaged. If you like rubbery chicken this is the spot to check out...what a waste of money. The fried rice tasted like old rice covered in soy sauce. The egg rolls were just inedible. I don't see how this business model works....oh the customer service is just simply non existent.

The food was so fresh and delicious! The spring rolls a bit greasy but the were so good! The chicken and beef was very tender and fresh! We order from Jiayan and its always good food.

I have no idea what’s wrong with other one star reviews here. I have been ordering from this place for 3 months now and every week. Food is very authentic and good tasting. Those who like ‘Mandarin’ or ‘Panda Express’ style Chinese food won’t like it and you shouldn’t come if you like that kind of food. That’s not authentic. The food here is authentic and tastes like home. Would recommend and come back.

This was literally the most disgusting Chinese restaurant I ever ate from. I ordered from UberEats, mind you I’ve eaten from a million Chinese places throughout my life. We ordered the chicken and shrimp chow mein. They served us 2 whole plates of bean sprouts with raw chicken and shrimp. 50$ of actual raw vegetables. If you guys want to do anything - AVOID EATING FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! THEY WILL SCAM YOU

My first try. Jiayan Chinese Restaurant/Daytime Grill has the best Chinese food I have ever eaten - better than The Mandarin or Chen Chinese up the street near Fortinos. Fresh, tender, good portions. Highly recommended! This is where I will be getting all my Chinese food from now on. The "Canadian" food looks good too. Look forward to trying it out. Have never come across a combo Chinese food/Canadian food restaurant before. I think it's a great idea.
First time ordering from Jiayan Chinese and it was fantastic. We’ve tried pretty much all the Chinese restaurants in North burlington. Food was hot, fresh and really good - better than Mandarin. Service was very nice and friendly too. We finally found out go to Chinese take out ?. We had Singapore noodles (wow!), egg rolls, wonton soup, general tao chicken.

It was a nice little spot we got to stop by! Had the 2 can dine combo! The portions were great! Had chicken fried rice , chicken balls and chicken chow mein and the egg roll as an appetizer! So good. The service was really nice! I'd come back for sure!
