5/5 ⭐ – La Pita Halal, Burlington
Excellent food with generous portions and fresh ingredients. The shawarma and platters are flavorful, well-seasoned, and served hot. Staff are friendly and quick with service, and prices are very fair for the quality. Clean dining area and convenient location make it an easy choice for a great meal.

This place has the best food in town, the most hardworking staff and people who are true Samaritans. I lost my wallet while the store was closed, and I was not very kind to them before when I lost it. But instead of seeking revenge, the manager helped me and found it. This is the type of people we need more in our world. God bless these people and they are the best pita in town.

Unfortunately today our whole experience was ruined by a worker lady, she looked almost angry that we came to order, made faces at us when we were trying to order and wouldn’t help us at all, i saw her mocking and laughing at an old customer as they left too. My brother went to ask for the wifi password, their wifi is called “halal pita guest” and the kind worker man was going to put the password in his phone but the same rude lady glared at him and signalled no no no with her head and he got a little scared, told my brother ‘sorry we are out of wifi maybe we will have it tomorrow’ . Like??? Not coming here again. I think maybe your worker lady is racist against desi/brown people. I came here two years ago and the pizza was really good, today even the pizza was bad, i guess it wasn’t made with love. Not to mention the table was not clean and there was a fly around. Im so disappointed and hurt i felt like crying, i had one slice and asked my brother to leave…..
Edit: it’s evident by the way the owner of La pita replied that the owner has no manners which is why the staff is also pathetic. There are so many complaints about your rude and unprofessional staff because that is the reality, instead of asking your customers to “go see a doctor” “look into your soul” you should focus on cleaning your tables and training your staff and yourself on ethics

After an exhausting day toru8ng tue city, this was the only Halal place we came across in the vicinity. The store is really good for am emergency like us, but definitely not a 5 star experience. The food was done well but I have had better pizzas even if it was not a pizza store. The restaurant is well kept to a certain level. It was an overall mediocre experience as opposed to the rest of the city.

My husband and I ordered a shawarma pizza here, but what we received was simply a plain chicken pizza with no sauce. When I left a review about this, instead of acknowledging the mistake or offering a solution, the owner’s response was rude, unprofessional, and even falsely accused me of asking for their Wi-Fi password (which makes no sense, as both my husband and I have our own data).
Rather than taking accountability or providing customer service, they chose to argue and dismiss my feedback. Looking through other reviews, I now see that many people have had the same experience with rude and unprofessional behavior from the staff/owners.
This is not how customers should be treated. The food was disappointing, and the service even worse. I will never return and do not recommend this place to anyone looking for respectful, quality service.

Loved dining in at La Pita Halal Shawarma & Grill. We dined in the evening after exploring Lakeshore East and got the Chicken Plate & Falafel Veggie Plate. The food is fresh and hot, served in an actual plate. We also got a mini pizza with fries and drink combo. The flavours are authentic and reminds me of a home cooked meal. The atmosphere and interior space is cozy and decor gives traditional Middle Eastern vibes. It’s a beautiful cultural space, and hidden gem, placed in the busy city.
Definitely will be visiting back again soon! Looking forward to trying more authentic dishes.
