i gave it 2 stars over all because of the exorbitant pricing and the method of displaying the food, they thinned it out on the plate to make it look like there was more than there actually was. $26.00 + for a single dinner plate, this is before tip and before i purchased a drink.
the servings of the meat was extremely small compared to other places in town, food was good but nowhere worth the $26.00 they charged for it.
the plates are very large & they spread out the food thinly on the plate to make it look like its something its not ! in other words, they scam their customers.
do i recommend it to others?
no, i do not recommend this restaurant unless you want to throw away your hard earned money.
will I ever return?
no, i will never return !
you can go to the mandarin for an all you can eat lunch for $26.00, this restaurant server maybe one cup of meat and 1.5 cups of rice with a salad on the side, i'd estimate $3.00 to $4.00 worth of food maximum.
they can mark up their food however they want, i'm never going to return.
the fork in the photo is small, not a standard dinner fork which makes the amount looks larger when in reality, its not.

I visited this Burlington location with my dad after seeing promotional material that made the aesthetic look great, but the reality was a massive disappointment. The outside of the building looks incredibly dated, and the inside was no better. The floors were sticky, the tables were unkept, and the dining area was uncomfortably hot.
The absolute biggest issue here is the service and the flawed ordering system. We waited in a huge line for 30–40 minutes for what is supposed to be fast food.
Their system of making the food before ringing you up creates a massive bottleneck, especially when the front-of-house staff seems completely untrained.
When we finally got to the register, the cashier struggled to ring up our combos, incorrectly charged us for items individually, and argued with me about whether canned drinks were included in the combos.
I eventually had to ask for the owner. He was remarkably grumpy and surprisingly didn't know his own menu either, he had to walk over and check the digital screen just to confirm that the drinks were indeed part of the combo. That frustrating checkout interaction alone wasted 10 to 15 minutes.
As for the food, the value is simply not there. We spent over $70 and felt completely scammed by the portions. The pizzas were essentially the size of a single piece of toast; you can get a much better, massive slice at Costco for a fraction of the price.
The fries tasted like cheap, frozen grocery-store fries, and we literally watched the staff pull older, cold fries from a plastic container to serve to us on tiny glass plates. On top of that, they shorted us one of our fry orders. When I pointed out the mistake, the cashier questioned me instead of just fixing it, and we had to repeatedly ask just to get a few packets of ketchup.
I will admit that the shawarma itself was actually pretty tasty. Unfortunately, a decent sandwich cannot make up for clueless customer service, a sticky environment, terrible portion sizes, and exorbitant prices. Management desperately needs to properly train their staff before putting them on the register to handle money during a rush. I do not recommend this place.

The food littersly looked like they took some frozen fries and put them in the air fryer and then the portion sizes arent anything worth what your paying at all and they are even confused about their own menu and got the total price wrong multiple times making us over pay and they tried to get us to put our drinks back even though they are included in the combo we bought and we had to tell them that??? And the atmosphere is just the worst I've ever seen it looks like they just took a printed peice of paper and slapped it on the walls and the tables and the black slider they serve u on are dirty and sticky

PLEASE STOP TAKING DOWN MY 5 STAR REVIEW
I was desperate for shawarma today and decided to give this perfectly situated restaurant a try. We are new in town but the reviews were good and our expectations were high.
As soon as you walk in the front door you know you've made the right choice. Several beautiful koi fish stare up at you with welcoming eyes. On the left, a handful of rainbow coloured fish beckon you in.
My guy and I both got pita wraps, mine chicken and his beef. They seemed to have a larger selection of toppings than usual. The shawarma was delicious. We got double portions and could barely finish. We also got a side of fries which were very good! Crispy and well-cooked.
The two employees working this evening, a lovely woman and a beardy fellow, were pleasant and quick.
As delicious as the food was, I fell in love with the decor. You don't find places like this anymore. Simultaneously spacious and cozy. And they have interesting groceries too! Not just fine Arabic goods but specialty teas and candies, and also ice cream if you're in the mood. I left the place with a box of what turned out to be FANTASTIC apple pineapple tea.
Will definitely return!

but the men staff who made my Shawarma,
wasn’t friendly & professional. The owner must look for real staff who have hospitality.
