I recently tried Lava Pizza and Wings in Burlington and ordered their two popular items – the Amul Cheese Pizza and the Samosa Chaat Poutine.
Starting with the pizza, the price itself is hard to justify – $20 for a small pizza with just one topping (tandoori paneer). The paneer was barely noticeable, and overall the pizza tasted like it was loaded with sauces rather than actual toppings. The flavor leaned heavily on the sweet side, which I personally didn’t enjoy. Even the dipping sauce that came with it was overly sweet and didn’t pair well.
Now coming to the Samosa Chaat Poutine – honestly, I don’t know why it’s named that. It tasted more like a regular samosa chaat drenched in the same sweet sauce they gave with the pizza. On top of that, they used frozen samosas, which turned the crust very hard after baking and lost all the authentic samosa flavor. The sauce completely overpowered everything else.
Overall, if you enjoy sweet flavors in food, you might actually like what they offer. But for someone like me who prefers something spicy and flavorful, the taste was pretty mediocre. Personally, not something I’d go back for, but I get that others might enjoy it more depending on their taste.

The dipping sauces were so disgusting, it tasted and smell really bad, even the pizza wasn't so good. And it's not that it happened first time, everytime they either forget to give the dippings or it doesn't taste good

Absolutely disgusting. Chicken wings are horrifying with feathers sticking out. Mozzarella sticks insanely salty. Pizza is just as bad. 67 dollars wasted, never again.
