We loved the food here! Whenever we visit Burlington, we always try to stop here. My favourite is the goat. So delicious and tender. The prices are reasonable and portion sizes are generous- not something you see often these days. They offer special each day of the week too.

Food's always good here. Service when it's not busy is good. On Monday I went to get five doubles and ordered without issue. There was a group of three already waiting. The one employee then went and made food... for 35 minutes we waited for one order. The employee's speed wasn't an issue but why wouldn't they tell us there would be such a long wait for something that usually takes only a few minutes? Every time I saw her start making doubles I assumed it'd be our order but no, until 35 minutes later.

Every time I visit the Burlington location the restaurant is always clean and the customer service is always delightful and I feel respected as a customer. I want to give a shout out to Riya who always goes above and beyond to make me and my significant other feel so comfortable when we are visiting as customers, whether it’s dining in or taking out. Worst experience ever at Lena’s Roti. The food was overpriced and tasted terrible. We ordered a non-veg platter and they served something else, and the staff at reception were rude and careless about it. Total waste of money and time. Not recommended to anyone — don’t go!

Not great. Rotis were dry, lots of dhal puri wrap not much filling, no gravy offered to help with the dryness. The aloo pie seems to be missing potato - it was 90% dough and maybe a table spoon of thinly spread aloo with some chutney. They are also not made fresh. The dough was prefried and sitting out. Not good.
There was only 1 person ahead of us, who was already waiting for their order when we got there. 2 rotis, aloo pie and a peanaut punch took almost 15 minutes to receive. The peanut punch was already made in the blender, just needed to be mixed, but it wasnt ready until after we got the rotis. The aloo pie came out 5 mins after the rotis. The lady serving us was like on zombie mode, so slow. I watched her unwrap the roti shells and proceeded to take several minutes to fill and wrap them up. It was insane how slow it was. The other employee ended up grabbing the aloo pie to make for us and served us the peanut punch.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting the staff at Lena's. Both of these ladies made my experience so delightful. Their customer service, smiles and conversation was a breath of fresh air. During the chit chat the ladies prepared my roti and doubles to perfection. Biting into these dishes was an explosion of taste and flavors that is undeniably Trinidad & Tobago. 5⭐️'s to this gem in downtown Burlington.
