Lean’s Doubles has truly lived up to the hype! The “Double R Team,” Reshma and REN, deserve a big shoutout for their outstanding service. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and clearly enjoyed what they were doing. Their positive energy created a fun yet professional atmosphere, and the place itself was clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
Now, onto the food! The doubles were absolutely delicious—definitely worthy of a solid 5-star rating. The roti and chicken were just as amazing, with the roti being exceptionally soft and flavorful. I also appreciated that they offered vegetarian options and a daily special deal, making the menu budget-friendly and accessible. The prices were reasonable and comparable to other places in the industry.
If I had to offer one small critique, it would be that the chickpeas in the doubles could use a little more cooking to make them softer, as is typical with doubles. However, this didn’t detract from the overall taste and experience.
The only drawback is the parking situation. Street parking is paid during the week, but luckily, there’s free meter parking on weekends. Additionally, there’s a parking lot behind the building that offers free parking on weekends.
Overall, an amazing experience! I highly recommend Lean’s Doubles for anyone looking for tasty food and excellent service. Reshma and REN, you guys are doing a fantastic job—keep it up!

The restaurant is the cleanest I’ve seen in a very long time and the food…the food…need I say the food is sooooooo tasty and well worth the price!!! My entire family was there a couple of weeks ago and ate there at least twice for our vacation. We all agreed that it is the best roti and doubles we have ever had! My family is from Barbados and New York and have eaten a lot of roti and doubles.. I loved the boneless goat doubles...It melted in your mouth and was amazing. The service was amazing, the food was amazing and when we come back to Canada, we are definitely coming back here...amazing <3

Excellent food and very friendly service! The chicken curry is particularly good. It can sometimes be a bit of a pain to park in the area and the dining area isn’t the most comfortable but that shouldn’t be held against establishment. If you are downtown or work in the area this place should be a frequent lunch location.
