The steak and shrimp at Lowville Bistro were outstanding—perfectly cooked and clearly top-quality. You can tell it's sourced right. Robert and the staff are always top notch—friendly, professional, and welcoming!

Took myself out on a solo date here last night, absolutely loved the food and environment. Thank you for a lovely experience!

Very disappointing experience, my soup was only lukewarm and totally over prized.

What a delightful find! This charming bistro features a cozy, rustic garden patio with plenty of natural shade, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The food was exceptional, and the service was top-notch. We're so glad we made a stop here for lunch—definitely a hidden gem! Highly recommend.

My second visit to what is becoming my favourite restaurant for a Saturday lunch. The Lowville Bistro is a lovely little place, the food is wonderful, and the service is great. I've taken my sister-in-law there for her birthday, and today was my cousin. The Italian Salad is AMAZING and they bring their desserts in from a little establishment in Burlington. I will definitely go back again and already can't wait!

Lowville Bistro is our favorite spot. We dine out a couple times a week and this consistently becomes the place that feels like home, so we often return. The food is incredible, the patio is perfection, and the owner, Robert, is always kind and quick to come over and say hello. Mckenzie is also a gem, and the whole staff is always terrific. Highly recommended.

Such amazing food, service and atmosphere! I’ve lived locally for 12 years and every time I eat here I walk away with a smile, I great taste in my mouth, a feeling of satisfaction and appreciation for such great food from such a nice team and restaurant which I rate VERY highly. I’m lucky to travel the world and experience a lot of different wonderful places, but coming home and eating at LVB never fails to make me feel grateful.
My favorite.. the dry ribs & seafood risotto🙌🏻

We’ve been trying to get here for a while, bistro was closed this past winter and I understand restaurant struggles post Covid and feel we must continue to support all family business however!!!
Today we lined up at 3:30 for several minutes, staff passed us by as they served food, others lined up behind us and then we were told they were now closed until 5 PM despite website saying they were open until 9!
They lost a lot of business today! Not Good

"This is not a Fast Food Restaurant!" - pat came a reply when I had politely asked how long it's going to take after I had ordered food 30mins ago. We were 2 couples with our 3 months old babies. But the young lady sounded too apathateic and made us feel as if we have never been to a good restaurant before.
I don't like giving poor reviews just to vent out but the attitude with which our food was served just made us walk out right away. Still generously giving 3 stars because the food was great but can't expect anything less with such a pricey restaurant.
Message to management - I understand servers could be overworked sometimes but teaching them some empathy can go a long way.

I just expected basic service but I felt rushed and unwelcome by the staff, perhaps it is too much to ask for. It’s a shame, the location and atmosphere is great, it was a very disappointing experience.

Absolutely horrendously overpriced! Went for a hike in Lowville park and grabbed take out on the way home. $25 for a chicken club sandwich that was meh at best. Heard great things about this place but very disappointing.
