I recently visited this Hakka restaurant after seeing some excellent reviews, which seemed genuine compared to many others. I decided to give it a try, and it turned out to be the best Hakka experience we had in years. The food was fresh and clean, without being overloaded with MSG like many other Hakka places. From the fried rice to the dry chilli fish, Hakka noodles, and soup, each dish had a unique taste and fantastic flavor. Unlike other Hakka spots where everything tastes the same, this place really stood out. The chicken was tender, with a light batter that made it soft and easy to eat, not hard or chewy. Chef Gopi was also incredibly helpful, taking the time to explain dishes we weren’t familiar with and guiding us toward the perfect choices. Overall, this will definitely be our go-to Hakka restaurant from now on. Amazing job, team!

We got hot garlic fish and chicken sizzler both items were really good, spice level was equivalent to desi level of spice. The waitress also came and checked multiple time to ensure the food and spice level was ok.

I loved their food. The spicy level is Desi. I was only disappointed with the beef crispy chilli item because they over fried it and the batter was too thick and less beef meat inside. Otherwise very happy with other dishes.
My husband and I have been coming here for over a year now and we love it! Oakville Hakka House is definitely our favourite Hakka spot. I always enjoy the chicken manchurian (gravy), and my husband gets the crispy chicken and fish pakora. Their food always crispy, fresh and delicious. The restaurant is very clean and welcoming. Service is amazing, we are always asked by the server and chef themselves how our food is. While ordering the food the server also asks about our spice preference as well which is very accommodating. We also feel the pricing is very fair for the delicious food. Overall love this place and always recommend it to others!
