Pane Fresco at Fortinos

Food is great! I really love the variety of options available. The service not so much. I am someone who attends the local High School and isn't allowed to sit in the dining area, apparently. I have gone through multiple instances where the employee specifically told kids with backpacks that they are not allowed to sit there. She gave no explanation, just that her boss is watching. I have witnessed and was part of multiple instances where I or a classmate had just started or was in the midst of eating something bought at the restaurant and we're told to go sit somewhere else. This is a violation of the ontario human rights code where she is discriminating against our place of origin. There are no signs in place and no "non-student" customer is asked to move even if they didn't buy anything. This has been happening for several months to me personally but may have been going on for even longer. No other employee says anything except her during her shift around noon.

I’m a frequent and regular visitor to the Pane Fresco at Fortinos Guelph Line for many years. The food and counter service is great and always consistent.Unfortunately my rating of the cleanliness of the seating area is a ZERO star. It is always dirty. There is rarely a clean table to sit down at. This has consistently been like this for many l, many years and I’ve finally decided to share my feedback in a review. Please pay more regular attention to your seating area. I’m sure I’m not the only one. I watch people with their trays walk around trying to find a clean table. They often have to settle for the one with the fewest crumbs and food scraps.

We ordered two cheese slices and one Hawaiian slice. Thank god we were eating inside because first the person gave us only one Hawaiian and one cheese. We went back to ask for the other cheese slice, and he gave us a Hawaiian slice. Then we told him that it was supposed to be a cheese slice and he made us pay again. Terrible customer service!

$18 for dry turkey that was sitting under a heat lamp, cold brussel sprouts with flimsy bacon, and ok root vegetables. I should have walked over to the pizza station first because it looked amazing and fresh. Nice people.

I would argue the best pizza in Burlington, especially the individual round pizzas. The staff is lovely, the food is fresh, and price is right for what you get. Bravo Fortinos!

Some of the highlights are: prime rib, chicken parmigiana, mac and cheese, arancini and asparagus. I’m getting hungry just thinking about the food.

We recently ordered from them for our school graduation ceremony and the service was outstanding! The food was fresh, appetizing and exactly as ordered. They exceeded our expectations. Will be a repeat customer for sure, well done!! We ordered from Giselle at the Bovaird and Torbram location and she was an absolute sweetheart to deal with and went above and beyond!

Lots of cool stuff but expensive. The employees somehow manage to tell you off at every chance they get. Not very kind. Probably shouldn't do regular groceries here.

When Pane Fresco pizza first became available at Fortino’s it was a delicious Roman pizza made with care. They no longer care. The pizza is delivered raw on a consistent basis; the gum line is huge. They have lowered the price significantly to keep moving the product, but it’s not worth it.
