This is my favorite downtown restaurant. It's location is unbeatable.

I am completely disappointed and I would be ashamed if I own this restaurant. My portobello
mushroom burger was horrendous! The ports ello tasted like freezer burnt. The bun was stale. The Cobb salad comprised of pre-shredded dried white and yellow cheddar that clearly came from a no name brand bag. Cheese has no taste, not that the cheese used even belongs to a Cobb salad recipe. Fries was very obviously double fried and soggy! The bacon was very gamy in flavour. There was no ingredients that anyone who has had Cobb salad would anticipate seeing in this plate: NO avocado, dressing (mustard) and other possible alternative for dressing, NO blue cheese, goat cheese, olives, corn, cucumber…and there was chunky of supposed lobster meat but was completely taste less. VERY DISAPPOINTED

The food at this place is gross and very cheap quality, seems like all their food is from the frozen no name section at the grocery store I would strongly recommend to not come here ever as you can see in these photos the food does not look (or taste) appetizing

The food they serve at this place is far from decent. It’s horrendous. Their food comes from frozen packages, cheap ingredients, and tastes like nothing. The Cobb Salad is missing 7 of the ingredients listed on their menu. I would never come back here as it’s a waste of money.

Our server was cold, unwelcoming, and failed to tell us about the happy hour specials, which resulted in us paying full price. I wish I had caught her name.

As for the food, it was average at best and definitely not worth what we paid. I wouldn’t return based on this experience.

We organized a party at Burlington Springs Golf Club with Pepperwood Bistro catering service. We were extremely satisfied by the food, the service, the setting and the flexibility of Stephen and April to help us organize before and during the event. We also had a meal at the restaurant and were equally impressed by the quality. Dom & Nick

What a little gem we discovered. Nice sunny day with a breeze and we sat outside on the deck. The food was good. Reasonable because of some happy hour offer. The service was great. What more do you need. The view of the lake and it was lovely.

The service was good but.... The marg pizza was one of the worst I have had. It was as if someone described what a pizza was to someone who never had one before. Take it off the menu.

Ordered a Margherita pizza for $20. What I received was a small, pre frozen and tasteless little flatbread I could find at No-frills. Only decent thing was the service.

I booked a group in the private party area, we fell short of our initial number, I informed the restaurant they were very accommodating. Our service was excellent, the food was good and hot and fresh

I’ve been going to Pepperwood since I was 8 and I’m 27 now. I was jarred by the experience I had today. We ordered muscles with fries and aioli, the beef short rib and a gluten free pasta. The muscles came out in time and were great as I had always experienced. We then proceeded to wait for our short rib and pasta that had shown up under-seasoned, luke warm and as if they had sat in the window for the last hour. Even the 2nd beer I had ordered took over 30 minutes to get to the table. Fries and Aioli were only fired after we had finished our mussels, it was the only hot item brought to us after the mussels and the indoor portion of the restaurant seemed to be empty. Just not the experience I was accustomed to so I thought I’d note the experience for future diners.

Food was not good. The menu kind of sucks. The service was not good either. Atmosphere is alright but i would never spend my money there again.

We enjoyed a really nice lunch on their patio: the limoncello mussels were amazing - better than in Normandy France if that's possible. Friendly unrushed service which was nice. Not cheap but the area is toney

Wanted to recognize Maya, who was fantastic and really made our experience a great one. We found out in chatting with her that it was her first shift! She was pleasant, patient and knowledgeable. Great addition to the Pepperwood team and we wish her continued success!

Was there tonight for the Nashville takeover and wow what a takeover. What a great evening. Definitely a hectic night for the staff. Victoria the manager was particularly wonderful, helped us find a table inside, made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves the whole night. Thank you Victoria for your time and hospitality during a crazy night!! Can’t wait to come back and enjoy a drink on the patio this summer!
