Pepperwood Bistro Brewery & Catering

Fantastic food, decent prices, lovely patio but.... the shining star was the service. Our server Christa was attentive, knowledgable and unbelievably personable. As someone who has not only been in the food industry for years but frequents high end restaurants, I can confidently says Christa provided some of the best service I've had in years. 10/10 would recommend, and ask for Christa as she will make sure you are well taken care of.

We stopped by Pepperwood for a quick bite, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The calamari was tough and chewy, making it difficult to enjoy. My son ordered a burger, but it was so dry and lacking in flavor that he couldn’t finish it. My daughter’s pizza was equally underwhelming—the crust was poor and the overall taste just wasn’t right. I tried the beet salad, which was little more than plain boiled beets quartered and placed on the plate with no real preparation or seasoning.

Overall, the food was subpar and fell well below expectations—a real letdown.

The person who was serving us is Jessie She was very kind and served us with a smile, The food was SO good. We ordered the PepperWood burger, It came with fries and I was impressed with how good the food tasted, truly this is the best restaurant I've been to in years.

Poutine was alright, wings and pizza were better however the dinnerware was poorly cleaned with those glasses being Inexcusably brought out with lipstick marks on them.

Always like to visit Pepperwood, especially in the summer. Enjoyed the patio with a nice view of the lake. It is on a busy street but you are removed from traffic by a boardwalk. Dinner was delicious- had the mussels in white wine sauce, which were cooked to perfection. Good assortment of beverages and a varied menu. Service was top-notch! Portions are good and priced appropriately. Parking is free on the street after 6 pm and there are numerous lots nearby. Reservations recommended during high season.

My wife and I had a phenomenal lunch at Pepperwood! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was awesome and all the staff were so welcoming.
We ordered the Caesar Salad and the Farmers Pizza, which was absolutely amazing and very tasty. The food was definitely the highlight of our visit!
A special shout-out to our server, Juan. He was the best. so friendly, welcoming, and really made our time there even more enjoyable.
We truly enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back!

As a party of four we decided to stop and enjoy an excellent meal at this restaurant. Our server was Jesse and she was absolutely amazing and just a wonderful personality. As she brought our meals to us we had an ongoing banter with her and she played along very well. My meal was wild mushroom risotto and when she bought to me I commented how great it looked and she said in a very numerous way I tasted it and it on point. All of us laughed and so did the table close to us. My suggestion is go to this restaurant ask to sit in Jesse's section and enjoy truly an amazing server who clearly enjoys her job . The experience was perfect and we will going back again and yes Jesse we want to be in your section.
