Great food! I've ordered the Singapore Noodles a couple times here and it doesn't miss. Tried their eggplant and Basil Beef dishes and they're good

Authentic Chinese dishes with excellent services and reasonable prices. We are going there so often, we are calling them as our “home kitchen”.

Amazing late lunch! We looked for a good meal. We found this one and ordered our foods:Crispy Ginger Beef (Chef's Recommendation), Bok Choy in Garlic Sauce, Wonton Pho, Chicken Pho, and other specific foods that my child chose on her own.All the food was heavenly good!! We left the restaurant to satisfy our hunger. We will definitely return to Burlington for lunch again when we go shopping.

Food was so fresh and yummy. They were one of the only places open on Christmas night. Really happy we stumbled on them. Excited to try all the other items.. Great selection.

My family comes here every holiday (we live in different countries but meet up in the GTA). This place absolutely never fails to satisfy our hunger. We always order the lobster which is so good, and has a really great portion. The service is great and the atmosphere is home-y (it'd a family owned restaurant). If you're looking for an authentic Chinese restaurant and aren't look for anything super fancy, I'd totally recommend this place.

My wife and I went here for lunch. We both like Thai food and this place was a favourite before COVID but we have not visited for a while. Our love for Thai food was not disappointed. We ordered a Mango salad to share. My wife ordered Mango Chicken while I ordered Green Curry Chicken Stir Fry. We shared an order of steamed rice. The salad and both dishes were delicious and more than we could finish. The dishes were part of the Chef’s Specials less than $15 each. This restaurant has great food and we will be returning for more great food.

If I could give their service a 0 I absolutely would. Never have I been treated so rudely in a restaurant in my entire life (and this is absolutely not an exaggeration). The older waitress has got to be one of the most bitter and disrespectful people I've ever encountered. The restaurant is also extremely dirty and the dishes and cutlery are sticky and grimy to the touch. I did not feel confident their kitchen was any cleaner. With a nasty attitude from the waitress and a dirty restaurant environment, I would most definitely not recommend Pomelo to anyone looking for a nice dining experience.

We normally come here for fast good chinese food. But the past few visits were not good at all. We ordered the basil Thai fried rice, which is normally amazing...but the past two times, it was awful...not even spicy at all. We asked about the poorly cooked dish, and the waitress just gave us hot sauce and said to mix this in...it did not elevate the dish at all.The last time we went...and that will be our last time we go...we got there at 5:45pm. Not busy. Just a few tables of 2,3 or 4s. They did have a reserved table for later in the evening. The old grumpy waitress asked for how many...we replied 12. She immediately looked upset at the number and told us to follow her to the back room where she pointed at a table for us to sit.The table had no chairs, no cutlery no plates...nothing. she told us to grab chairs from around the room and arrange them ourselves. She went to go get plates and cutlery and napkins and plopped them on the table and also asked us to set up our own table and walked away. No menus. When the rest of the party arrived, the waitress still hadn't given us any menus. So I had to go and get menus myself for me and the rest of my party. We ended up ordering 9 dishes. We waited....long story short...we waited 1.5 hours. With not a single dish served to us.Within the 1.5 hours we asked about our food and when it would come out maybe 3 times. Each time the response was, "we have to serve the other tables first"...There were other smaller tables of 2 of 3 of 4s that came in after us and left before us as well...We finally got fed up and made a bigger complaint about our food...we asked if they could just make one of the 9 dishes we ordered so our kids could start eating...but they just said no...and followed it with..."you can leave if you want."I have never experienced this sort of customer service before...pomelo was once ahidden gem of a restaurant...but it has become a hideous place to even call a restaurant.Old waitress lady...you need to get trained on how to host a restaurant and learn better manners.
