It's not authentic Thai food, but I'm not sure what people expect in a shopping mall food court. The food is, however, very good, and the value is hard to deny. A two-item meal could easily feed two people.
The Thai grilled chicken is probably my favourite grilled chicken anywhere.

Mapleview mall food court.
Mango salad was fresh.
Tomato rice noodles a bit sweet.
Bbq chicken chunks also too sweet but everything was tasty and the woman who served me was friendly and kind.
If they would use less sugar, it would be five star.
Please make LESS SWEET, people want healthier food.

Ruby Thai Chicken is fantastic! Their chicken and noodles arnt just good — they are better than bourbon chicken, with even more great options to choose from. The spicy chicken is amazing and full of flavor.
What really stood out was their kindness and great service. My young daughter couldn’t have anything spicy, so they thoughtfully added an extra portion of noodles to the back of the tray just for her. It’s those small touches that make a big difference. Highly recommend!

Very expensive. NOT WORTH THE PRICE!
We usually buy at the Asian food across and thought to try Ruby’s. I bought 1 order of honey garlic chicken and 1 order of beef. Their 1 order “1/2 pound” costs $11.99 as a side order, which totals to $27.10 including tax. It is too much for this less food. I thought it could serve for 3-4 people, like the other Asian store. The vendor didnt even suggested to get the combo.

Look like a piece of cleaning brush on the food.

We found the service excellent. The person working, I think his name was Jerry, offered us a bite of mango chicken to taste first. Then we asked to taste one bite of a few other options, and he was so nice, he gave us a bite. Which made it easier for us to make the combo.
We loved the food. We ordered spicy chicken, mango chicken, eggplants and fried rice.
Looking forward to visiting again!

After some serious shopping, me and my girlfriend hit up Ruby Thai Kitchen in the food court — and wow, it hit the spot.
We got two Combo 2s with two cans of soda for around $41, which felt like a steal considering the huge portions and variety.
Only reason it’s 4 stars? The name says Thai, but the food gave strong Asian/Chinese vibes. Not a complaint — just a heads-up.
Definitely a tasty place to refuel after a mall marathon.

Today is Sunday, July 13th. It is the first time I have tried eating here and it was a failed experience. The cashier was very rude. He did not even like to talk. My family and I did not like that. It was the first time and the last time.
Hmmm. First of all I am a bit of a Thai food snob. I have spent 5 months in Thailand.
This place does not serve Thai food. Asian/Chinese food at best. We ordered wonton soup, side mango salad, Thai spring rolls, and Pad Thai. Total was $48.
There are no Thailand flavour profiles in any of the dishes. I loved the mango salad, I love green mango crunchiness and that reminded me of Thailand. Although in Thailand they put fish sauce and make it so spicy you can barely eat it. So, not Thai style mango salad at all. Maybe Canadian mango salad.
The wonton soup pictured had bok choy in it and my soup had broccoli. The flavour profile was not Thai.
The spring rolls tasted like they had bad meat in them. Completely inedible.
Pad Thai. Wow. Not pad Thai. No toppings. Just noodles and chicken. The chicken was ok. Tender and tasted like it’s bbq’d.
I would not eat here again. I would not recommend.

I don’t usually post anything, but the green curry chicken was there worst “food” I’ve had in a very long time. The chicken thighs were full of fat, cartilage, and gristle. The green curry sauce was thick, gummy, and flavourless. This is NOT Thai food. On the bright side, when I went back to complain, they gave me a new container with noodles and a sweet mango chicken. I gave that to my husband, and he liked the sweet taste. The staff was very nice but I will not be going back to try the food again.
Walk by this place all the time, finally tried it and wasn’t impressed. Chicken tasted like fish/shrimp (must have been cooked in the same pan as seafood), the other chicken was dried out and looked like yesterday’s leftovers, very bland. Noodles were ok… friendly customer service but definitely not worth it. Sorry but won’t be back anytime soon
I had bbq chicken and taste was very bad.
Looks like chicken was 2-3 day old and stinky.
