This is extremely underrated. Living in burlington for a good 20+ something years I have never been and I was missing out. Friendly service as soon as you walk in the door. HUGE selection of Japanese and Korean meals. The miso soup they brought at the start was the BEST miso soup I have ever had, I licked that bowl clean. The presentation is A1, recommend getting that Phan Chan set to start(3 side dishes we go kimchi, sprouts and cucumber) my partner's winter set looked and tasted amazing. I had the Eel Donburi, and that eel was so tender I was cutting it just by gently picking it up. Great atmosphere, love the look and feel and they have semi private rooms! Will definitely be back and try the sushi next time; We saw some coming out and suffered a little fomo. If you haven't been here you need to give it a go.

This is, by far, my favourite Japanese Restaurant. I go with a friend and we just let them bring stuff to the table. So good. Worth every penny and a great atmosphere.

The service was TERRIBLE!!! We were the only group that was asked to go to the front area to pay whereas all other customers who were paying were still seated and was given the debit machine/terminal. We did as asked. While we were there at the front desk, we mentioned that they missed one of our orders so it had to be taken off the receipt. They did so but we were told to wait AGAIN while they pass the terminal to another customer that was still seated. Very annoying and we felt discriminated!

Good place. Nice staff. Food is okay, I felt like it was expensive in comparison with other places and the sushi rolls had too much rice. More rice means cheaper to make.

This is THE ONLY place you should be eating Korean food in Burlington. Their sushi is expertly made and uses really fresh ingredients but I’ll focus this review on their Korean menu. The family who own and run the restaurant is Korean. The owner John is one of the hardest working men in the business. You’ll find him behind the sushi bar making platter after platter of great food. But the magic happens at the front of house, where everyone is well greeted in unison by John’s family and employees, upon entry and exit, how welcoming is that? And in the back of house where other family members and employees make the hot appies and entrees. The food is sublime and tastes just like what mom used to make (but better, though don’t tell her I said that!)You may look at the prices and think they are high but if you look at the quality of this food and the generosity of the ingredients and I think that alone should explain how busy this place gets especially on Fridays and weekends.A true neighborhood gem! Try their Korean soups and stews, the savoury pancakes, the BBQ beef, and their fried and battered chicken and pork in either a sweet sauce (Tangsooyuk) or a spicy sauce (kkanpunggi), so good!
