Squires is a great place at any time, but their Breakfast With Santa is really, really special. There are songs, stories and a magical visit from Santa to each and every child. So many wide eyes and smiles in one place. The prix fixe breakfast options for both children and adults were both delicious and plentiful, on top of being very reasonably priced. All in all, the highlight Christmas event of this season for the grandchildren. Well done Squires and thank you.

Absolutely impressed with this spot! The food was fantastic, we ordered a mix of dishes including the fish and chips, bourbon sizzling chicken, tomato ravioli, and the chili chicken bites, and everything was genuinely delicious. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful. They also offer a great selection of non-alcoholic drinks, plus live music, which added a really nice touch to the evening.
The only downside is that the booth by the windows can feel a bit chilly, but aside from that, we were truly blown away. The aesthetics are stunning, the atmosphere is inviting, and the overall experience was excellent. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

They advertise a full English breakfast but it’s clearly not. Beans are disgraceful, sausage is not like England and everything is just stale
My partner and I love coming here and usually have a great experience. Tonight I ordered the holiday special menu and got the 6oz steak that came with layered potatoes. It came beautifully presented but the potatoes were freezing cold and I mentioned it to our server- who was super accommodating and lovely- and she brought me another that was meant to be hot. Same thing, freezing cold. Our appetizer was also luke warm and the baked Alaska was freezer burnt. Normally I am not one to complain but the quality of food was really disappointing. Again, our server was so lovely and helpful, but unfortunately I don’t want to return due to the seemingly reheated and underwhelming food.

Decided to give this place a try since the reopening/change of ownership. My partner ordered the fish and chips and I ordered the chicken fingers and fries. Unfortunately the food was very poor quality. We are not typically ones to complain or write a negative review but the quality of food is worth mentioning. The fish and chips batter was super over cooked and dry and then the French fries were something I have never experienced. I didn’t know a French fry could be so dry until this meal. It was like eating cardboard. We mentioned it to the server thinking that maybe it was just a one off mistake but they brought us more fries and it was the same thing.
Our server was nice and accommodating when we mentioned the food issues.
Renovations looked nice.
Overall food needs to be better…
