Located in a lonely strip mall, hidden gem. Fish is always delicious, service warm and accommodating. Perfect for Japanese sushi lovers, not for AYCE palettes.
The best Japanese food around. Do yourself a favor, make a reservation and treat yourself to the omakase. Absolutely worth it.
A Hidden Gem in Burlington – Sushi Masayuki
It was a pleasant surprise to discover Sushi Masayuki, an authentic Japanese restaurant tucked away in Burlington. I had the pleasure of enjoying their Omakase dinner ($140), which included an impressive 16 beautifully crafted dishes, each showcasing incredible attention to detail and freshness.
The quality of the fish was outstanding—delicate, flavourful, and expertly prepared. Every plate was a visual delight, artfully presented and thoughtfully balanced. I also opted for the sake flight ($15), which was a perfect pairing and added an extra dimension to the dining experience.
What truly set the evening apart was the personal and exceptional service. The staff made the experience feel warm and intimate, taking time to explain each dish and engage with guests in a genuine way.
Sushi Masayuki is a true gem for lovers of Japanese cuisine and a must-visit for anyone in the area looking for an elevated dining experience. I’ll definitely be returning!
Super fresh, great service and proper sushi!
The chef was so friendly. I ordered the Omakase experience which was $160. The chefs choices were amazing and the fish was supreme quality. Props to this sushi restaurant.
Had a reservation for my girlfriend’s birthday and decided to try the omakase menu. It ended up blowing our minds! Service was phenomenal and everyone was super friendly and accommodating. We would definitely come back.
The freshest fish and the best sushi rice.
Went specifically for the Omakase. Food and service were fantastic.
The highest quality and authentic Japanese food experience you can get in Canada.

Sushi Masayuki is hands down the best Japanese restaurant in town! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a serene atmosphere that perfectly captures the essence of Japan. The decor is comfortable, making it a perfect spot for both a casual meal and a special occasion.
Amazing place! I love how it is small and the staff are so welcoming and attentive to the customers. I have had sushi before but this was hands down the freshest, best quality sushi I have ever had.
Thank you for a great experience! We will be back and recommend your restaurant to anyone who likes quality food from a restaurant that cares about the customer experience.
This was our first time at this restaurant and we were shocked of how small the portions are in comparison to the prices. The food was fresh, however when you spend $260+ and you leave hungry!! That’s an issue especially when there was nothing special or unique about the menu, the rolls or the atmosphere. This is not a fine dining restaurant. Go to Hoseki. You are better off spending $300+ but getting great flavours, amazing quality, delicious rolls and delicious sashimi. Not worth it in my opinion plus we waited so long for appetizers only to get kids size food lol.
Lovely dinner, yummy food. 10/10

Portions were small in my opinion but the fish is so fresh that it’s worth it. No weird chemical smell you get from other sushi places. Next time I’ll be dining in because the atmosphere seemed great. Dynamite roll was great
