I got a pumpkin pie and butter tarts from this place. They were really good! Highly recommend. Prices are a little expensive but to be honest, it was so worth it. It definitely satisfied my cravings!

I ordered a peach crumble. Without a doubt this was the best pie I have ever eaten. Great staff and fair prices. I highly recommend this shoppe
I just bought and baked a small chicken mushroom and leek meat pie and it was so good!! Yum!! Had just the right amount of gravy to filling to crust ratio and the flavor was really nice! Preparation instructions are at the bottom of the box and I thought the nutrition facts were a really great touch since I do like to track my food intake on MyFitnessPal. I would like to come back to try their other meat pies as I was impressed by their large selection when I first came in today. :)

Our guests raved about the strawberry/rhubarb pie and maple butter tarts. So fresh and delicious and the maple leaf was a nice Canada Day touch! Looking forward to trying the apple with crumble top today. Thank you!

Bought a raspberry pie and it tasted like raspberry puree with some seeds. Not very good at all
We can't recommend this place enough! We always have an amazing experience in-store and stock up on meat pies for the freezer whenever we're in the area!
We recently tried the cherry crumble pie and it was too die for! The sweetness levels were perfect ? can't wait to try the butter tarts next time!

Had a great meat pie from That Pie Place. Can’t say I’m qualified enough to review food but it looked & tasted great to me! I do find it hilarious that soo many people think they know enough about food to really judge someone’s food when they themselves are clearly not qualified to make it own their own. I grew up getting Pies from Ernie’s but this is my new spot. It’s hard enough to run a small business, we don’t need these armchair food critics giving us bad advice.

Very disappointed with the Steak and Mushroom pie. Purchased a full size pie and the only thing that was good was the crust. It was definitely light and flaky. The contents however, were not steak or mushrooms. I did not get a single mushroom, the meat was not steak (maybe chuck?) and the onions were overpowering. The overall flavour was very bland and it smelt like it was full of additives rather than fresh. No beef gravy, but rather a strange, grey sauce. First experience, and last.Reply to the owner's response:It is disappointing that you feel the need to reply the way you did rather than to listen to the review. Perhaps my experience was a one-off and not typical but it was just that, my experience and I am welcome to leave a review about it. You noted "simple spicing" which is perhaps why things were bland to me, and perhaps many of your customers are very happy with your current spicing but I was expecting something different that was more beefy in flavour. I am not sure why you needed to make comments about baking a pie properly as I made no mention of this. I baked the pie to my liking - the picture was simply to show the colour of the contents and the lack of mushrooms. A better way to ensure future customers might be to show some care and concern.
Picked up a "steak and mushroom" 9" pie and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. It was neither steak nor mushroom but rather some form of beef, quite possibly chuck roast, and 3 mushrooms. 3 mushrooms that were so thin you could practically see through them. The crust was good, but the overall flavor was bland and the pie smelled chemically rather than "fresh". Perhaps renaming it to beef and onion with a guest appearance by a mushroom, would be less misleading. Not sure I'll be giving any of their other options a try.

Impressive pie spot that still uses REAL ingredients. They use lard, not shortening. Crust is flaky, dry, and dense and delicious.
