We recently had our son's wedding party stay at the hotel, planned a dinner meal as well as a brunch around the big day. What an amazing group of staff - from marketing to sales, front desk and housekeeping. Everyone was friendly, willing to help and handled any small issue with a smile. My husband and I would highly recommend the hotel for any big or small gathering. We are even looking at going back to spend a few nights and enjoy the area.

I was at the Courtyard by Marriott for business and had the pleasure of dining at Bistro. I was amazed with the extensive choices of items presented. I thoroughly enjoyed the flavourful bowl and would definitely go for it again.

Fantastic stay - nice, quiet and very comfortable rooms along with friendly service. Good location (far enough off the highway to avoid noise). Was overall very impressed and would absolutely return to this location.

I stayed in this courtyard twice, once for business for a few days and once with the family for a couple of weeks. By far, it’s one of the best courtyards I’ve been to - modern and trendy, and super clean. If you need to be in the Oakville / Burlington area - I don’t think any other property would top this one, specially if you’re looking for a friendly, boutique / highly personalized service. The front desk staff are super attentive, responsive and kind including Jeff, Firas, Shay, Kim, Jennifer, the sales manager, and Razan - the sales and marketing manager. All that said - the best part of this courtyard is it’s Bistro - super boutique but the food is absolutely amazing and the staff, specially Moira and Stephanie, are just wonderful - this simple as it us, this was the best part of the stay! Certainly coming back if I’m around this area!

Rude hotel staff and manager. Cancelled our booking without telling us. When I asked she said the hotel is fully booked and she cannot help us because they are understaffed and the hotel is fully booked.

We had a reservation made at this hotel for a family of 4 almost a month before arriving. We were arriving from a different country (USA) and my credit card was from the USA. The manager at this hotel (Kim) conveniently cancelled our reservation on the day of our arrival without even telling us. Her lies: my credit card was not working and she called me on my phone. My credit card had no issues and was working very well. I was at the Ottawa Delta (Marriot) hotel the before night and it worked. She claimed that she called me on a number that is not even mine. She did all this drama at 11AM on the day of our arrival. I am a Marriott Gold level member. I spend close to 50 days at a Marriott every month. Even if my credit card does not work (which is not even the case), Marriott policy states that they have to wait until 10PM on the night of arrival. And Marriott policy also states that I am allowed to cancel until the night before and if I don’t, I am due to pay the full amount no matter what. These policies does not apply to Kim and her hotel which she runs like a roadside shack. We saw her email from 11AM at 8PM that night while we were on the drive to the hotel. When I called, the first response to my phone call was from a lady who said that she was the only one working in the hotel that day and I had to call back in 15 mins. I was traveling with two little kids and was left stranded because she sold the room to someone else for a much higher price. We eventually did a last minute booing in Marriot Downtown Toronto and not surprisingly my credit card (which she claimed did not work) worked at this hotel and at the Marriott in Niagara Falls the next night. And this does not stop her. When I mailed her that night, she came up with more nonsense and a bribe to not post this bad experience online. This hotel is a joke. The management should be kicked out for all these wrong practices. Her only intent was to sell the room for a higher price. And being a Marriott Gold member means nothing to her.

The wedding celebration and weekend stay was fantastic! The attention to detail was phenomenal and everything was perfect! I felt like everyone working over the weekend was there just for us, from Alyssa and Jeff getting all of us checked in Friday to Jennifer ensuring all our event decorations were secured in our room and her watchful eye on everything throughout the day Saturday. I definitely knew we were all in good hands. The bride and groom are so happy and had the best day of their lives. I also want to say a great big thank you to Jeff and are most wonderful two ladies (that’s me terrible with names as usual) were fantastic and did an amazing job!!! I got so many compliments from our guests about the food and the venue. Not a negative comment in the room from what I heard and I asked almost everyone!

Well, it’s been a huge turnaround from our very first experience and each and every Stay just keeps getting better. We are platinum elite guests, which afford us benefits e.g. upgraded room, $10/ guest plus one, among other things. We love this hotel for many reasons, it’s a Marriott which is generally consistent, the Marriott bed is thee best, the rooms are large no matter what option you choose including the standard room, and I have anxiety. My favourite room surprisingly, and in order is the deluxe corner rooms, the full 1 bedroom suite which is a huge treat, (two full showers one with bath) in same bathroom, it’s massive) and connects to a kind standard room. Then, the Junior Suite. Each room is modern, and up to date. The one thing I wish all hotels had was access to “connect my device.” I’m not sure if the use of this system across Marriott brands is being removed entirely but I do know that some hotels within the brand offer it. Unfortunately, not here. They do have Netflix, Amazon Prime and stream. One odd thing we’ve had happen and not sure why this is, as we never felt compelled to ask, is why the tv just shuts down in the middle of any program/ streaming. And, although the tv message comes up on a screen saying hit “ok” to continue, it doesn’t matter how many times you do that, it still shuts off hmmm ? Of all the Courtyard hotels that we’ve stayed in, this hotel is thee nicest in comparison. The Bistro has a whole host of items. You can review the menu in room on the tv, and you can order over the phone albeit you need to pick up. The food has always been great, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff always get it right too! Lol We stayed last weekend (28-30) and upon check in got upgraded from a standard king (using points) to a deluxe corner - more spacious and the layout is fantastic. Upon, entry to the room we received the sweetest gesture of small snacks, and waters. So thoughtful. And, it’s each and every time! Now, we’ll be sad if we don’t get it. Lol JK! We know we’re appreciated and feel the genuine care of the team. When we checked in the staff heard me and came out to say hello making us feel extra special. Not needed as we know time is valuable. But, thank you! We appreciate the all of it. They have gone way beyond the extra mile! Oh, and, upon arriving to our room, and in past we have made requests for robes and slippers (mostly for my husband, to arrive this past weekend to two sets of each on our bed like a little welcome home! Awwww makes the day that much brighter to know that the staff took time out of their day, anticipating our need without even asking this time, albeit we didn’t need but husband still used them, just shows the thoughtfulness. It truly is the little things! Thank you! We shall see you this weekend, again! Also, It has become our new hotel, for attending Toronto FC soccer matches in Toronto. We would stay in Toronto right down town (at one of our fav hotels, ever) the hospitality ? anyways, the GO train is literally 5 min from Courtyard and very accessible to use. It’s more cost effective, spend less time frustrated with traffic and parking at BMO. We use Appleby GO location. Anyways, see you Saturday!! May 6th!

Having been in the hotel business for a number of years, and in charge of HUMAN RESOURCES, I can say with conviction that it is difficult to create a culture where every single staff member makes you feel like you are the only one there, and that they are thrilled to make sure your stay is great. I have experienced that here. From the desk attendant (and his trainer, as he was in training) to Mila, the GM, everyone had the most welcoming and helpful attitude at every point in my three day stay. 5 out of 5, 10 out of 10, n out of n, a great place.

While I was not part of the team that came to stay that this hotel, I did all the planning regarding this executive trip. We had 3 executives come in town and utilize the Library Conference Room. The schedule changed, as most things do... and Jennifer on the Sales and Events side was easily able to adjust. Truly accommodating! In all my years of being a executive assistant, this has been THE BEST experience working with a hotel. The team will be back again in the summer, and I look forward to working with Jennifer and her team again!

I ordered a steak here, and no exaggeration, it had to have been the best steak I ever had in my life! I'll never forget it! The decor is absolutely gorgeous, and the the host was a sweetheart.
