Date/Time of visit: January 18, 2025 approx 2:45pm was first time visiting The Brick Oven Bakery while on a road trip.

Great little bakery, don't let the size fool you. They have huge assortment of Italian frozen dinners, condiments, pickled items and a large selection of deli meats and sweets. Of course they also have fresh baked breads.

Staff was exceptionally friendly and very welcoming. We bought tuna sandwich, Portuguese tart and 2 foccacia loafs.

Everything was delicious. Highly recommend checking them out.

To say I am impressed with this bakery would be an understatement! My family and I are new to the area and we’re told by a neighbour to check out the The Brick Oven. We went in with a big order for cookies, pastries, and a birthday cake for my son‘s birthday. I’ve literally had three people text me saying that it was the most delicious birthday cake they had ever tasted in their lives! I was serviced by an employee by the name of Emily, who was so helpful and sweet as I needed to accommodate some gluten intolerant guests as well. She gave me a great option. Thank you so much for helping to make my son‘s first birthday as special as it was.

We had them cater for 70 people on short notice. Emily G was wonderful to deal with, and the food was excellent.

The Sicilian cannoli is my absolute favourite! So good. Their eggplant parmesan is absolutely delicious. Find it in the freezers. Love this place.

Wheelchair accessibility: Small store. A little tight to get around in, worse when there are multiple customers.

Very cramped and hard to move around, but the bread is totally worth it. Sourdough and the buns are my favorite.

I came here on a Saturday to try their hot food table and was informed that they only do hot foods on weekdays. I was really upset by this because first I drove 20 minutes from the other side of the city to come here and second, no where on their websites does it mention only hot foods on weekdays. Actually, on their hot food section on their website it says the hot food is available “everyday.” Really disappointing especially because I went out of my way and was excited to try the lunch options.

I stopped in this week to pick up lunch after reading so many great reviews. Definitely did not disappoint. Grabbed a couple of the veal parm sandwiches with all of the toppings and some almond cookies for dessert. Awesome! The veal was great with a generous helping of toppings. The bread was amazing! The cookies didn’t even make the drive, we ate them all before we got home. Prices were extremely reasonable. Highly recommend!

Although I have been a customer over 20 years couldn’t be more disappointed that they are open until 6pm but walk in at 5:45 and you cannot get sliced cold cuts. Couldn’t even see in the coolers because they had them closed down. All services should be open and correspond with your business hours, which is 6 PM I work until 5:30 and rush over straight from work to hopefully get cold cuts and cheeses, but nope. Very disappointing!!!!
