The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Burlington

All good as usual at The Keg. Only disappointment was the wine list. I understand the American wines being pulled but they have been replaced mostly with inferior wines. Not important to all, I understand, but still sad. I do get it though, “elbows up” during these trying times.

Excellent server and ambience. Wasn't too crowded on this Tuesday so noise level was comfortable. Gave us a nice booth which was perfect for the four yr old with us. Found my top sirloin steak a bit on the tough side though compared to the ones I've had previously.

While the food and service are great, the cost is now so high we now rarely go to The Keg for our special occasion dinners.

Service was great. It would be nice if it wasn't as dark. That feel seems a bit outdated. Love the team and food was good.

We booked specifically for Thanksgiving dinner. Our reservation was for 6:00. After we were seated we were informed this location “ran out” of the dinner we had booked in for weeks earlier. I understand these things happen- but at 6:00? Seems like poor planning. The food we did get was good and our server was very sweet. But kind of felt like a bait and switch.

Walked in greeted very nicely found our seat right away made reservations waiter came over was great nice glass of wine nice appetizer. Maybe we enjoyed our nice meal with a nice birthday cake for my wife. That was nice.

The service was excellent. The salmon and steak dishes weredelicious. I appreciated sitting in a quiet booth.

Had a fantastic anniversary dinner. Chad was great as always, thankyou for the delicious pie !

Our server was excellent. She was very attentive, refilling drinks at the perfect time. Our appetizer came out quickly and it was really good. Our mains came out shortly afterward cooked perfectly. The Merlot I picked out paired nicely with our steaks and we had a wonderful time. The table next to us had young kids crying here and there but it rarely distracted us from having a good evening. It was our anniversary and we got a complimentary dessert which was the perfect way to cap our experience. We would definitely come again

Son's choice for his Birthday dinner. Absolutely great service. Sarah, our waiter was wonderful. My sirloin was a bit tougher than I anticipated but my son's strip loin was excellent and the crab that accompanied my steak was so very delicious. Really glad I went and will go again.

I asked twice to be put in the quietest table available and we were seated with two groups of eight people with the music blaring. I made reservations about three weeks prior to our dinner. The boy who seated us said that was the best he could do. Our own waiter, Chad, was wonderful. He offered to move us, but our meal was already there. We probably won't return.

I hardly ever review chain restaurants, certainly not to give them 5 stars, but my wife and I had a great anniversary dinner there last night. The food was good, but the service was exemplary. Our server Art was quite fantastic. And the free Billy Miner pie at the end to help us celebrate was the proverbial cherry on top.
