This is a Great Pub! My first time there, but my mom has been going there for 45 years. My wee Irish Nana loved it there too. The food is excellent pub grub at reasonable prices and the staff are wonderful, in particular Michelle, our lovely server. Slainte Poacher! (The Irish toast Slainte = Cheers, and means "To your health")

I love sitting out on the deck in nice weather with friends. The staff are fantastic. The menu has basic food that is good and reasonably priced where other places priced themselves out of the market. Listening to the conversations in the place it is mostly regulars, which speaks highly of the Poacher.
Meal was ok. Charged 75 cents for Mayo for my kid which came as a surprise because the server didn't mention when the condiment was requested. Asked the server about the charge and immediately she became very condescending and rude. Will not return again.

Went there for the first time on Sunday.. Food was excellent. Service was very friendly. We sat on patio. Met some regular customers and very much enjoyed ourselves. Very fun and nice atmosphere. Will definitely will return.

Great old pub in Burlington. The service is GREAT, friendly atmosphere. A real “where everybody knows your name” kinda place. Food is good. Standard pub food, but well done. The atmosphere is “slightly” old fashioned. But in a charming, British pub kind of way! Highly recommend.
