“Wonderful little gem of great and affordable food in Cambridge. The food and the service were exemplary. It was not an extensive buffet, but whatever was on offer was very tasty, with nicely balanced seasonings. Best fresh naan bread I've had in a long time. The butter chicken was melt in your mouth tender, so was the lamb. Probably the best Indian food in the KWC area. Will be back for sure.“

“We ended up here instead of another similar sounding restaurant. We were too tired after the long drive to find the other restaurant, but this one turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Service was excellent. This is not high end dining but decent Indian food, with plenty of vegetarian options. The food was on the salty side, so you may want to make sure you specify low salt ahead of time. We ordered a Papdi chat, which was not that great. Chole Bhature was good. Chai was made from scratch and tasted authentic. Located opposite to Cambridge Memorial Hospital.“

“What I can say is that being in Canada for 46 years coming straight from Bombay, I had not forgotten my food or the tastes of the great foods of Bombay, were rejuvenated by us celebrating our 44th anniversary (1977) on Sep 20 and then celebrating our Indian wedding that took place on Sep 24. On both the days we ordered 7 different dishes and all I can say is that I did not feel that we were celebrating our anniversary but my 17th birthday before coming to Canada. “I had an interesting experience with Biryaniwalla Cambridge location.
I had placed a bulk order for a 15 people (Boneless Chicken Biryani and Chicken 65) and that too for a delivery at a Camping site which was a 40 minutes drive from their store.
There were some confusions within the internal team of the store and instead of the Chicken 65 starter item, The Chicken 65 Biryani was delivered.
When I complained it to the store, they acknowledged their mistake (obviously after a few long and descriptive phone calls) and they rectified it by sending someone again along with the Chicken 65 and even after insisting a couple of times they did not take the extra biryani back by saying that they are compensating for their mistake.

Taste wise, I would always give the Biryaniwalla's a full 5 star.
This time I would also give them 5 stars for their excellent customer service for turning my almost bad experience into a pleasant one.
Not rating the atmosphere of the restaurant as honestly I wasn't there.

If I would ever need to place an order for food in the nearby Cambridge-Kitchener-Waterloo area, my first choice would be this restaurant.

“the food is good it was hard to choose what to get because iv mostly had none of the food they offer, but I got the goat biryani and it was good the rice is got great flavor and I never had goat before but I found it delicious. I definitely would go again.“

“I picked up the Butter Chicken Momos. The dish comes with 8 momos. Sauce was plentiful and delicious! Momos were a decent size and filled with a good amount of meat filling. Really enjoyed them! The interior also looks nice, I'd go back for dine in!“
